1. #1The Great Faction War

   The great war was a large-scale conflict between the three main factions of the supernatural world, those three being the Angels of Heaven, and the Fallen Angels and Devils of the Underworld. This war started millennia ago when the original four devil kings; Lucifer, Beelzebub, Leviathan, and Asmodeus wanted to gain more control and had first started war with Azazel and the Fallen Angels, which later on went on to involve the Biblical God and Heaven. This war was long and brutal, resulting in a large amount of loss on all sides, but the Devils received the worst of it all due to their weakness to the holy or light weapons and magic that the Fallen Angels and normal Angels wielded. During the war however, they had unknowingly disturbed the welsh dragons Draigg and Albion, which resulted in a truce and ceasefire being called in order to deal with the two mighty dragons, it was only then that Heaven had suffered possibly the greatest loss; the death of the Biblical God who had sacrificed himself to seal away Draigg and Albion in sacred gears, the death of the Biblical God however was kept secret by the archangels.

2. #2Egyptian Faction

   Keys: Egyptian Faction, Egyptian Pantheon, Egypt's gods, Amun-Ra Ra, Anubis, Bastet, Osiris, Imhotep, Isis

   The countless gods of the Egyptian Pantheon are possibly one of the most secretive factions out of the entire world of the supernatural, they've rarely if EVER interacted with the other pantheons Because of such a secretive way of 'life' among the gods, along with their collective power the Egyptian Pantheon alongside the Hindu pantheon both are left alone for their own workings and business. The only times the Egyptian gods have interacted with the other gods, is when the Three-Way War had reached its first tense peace, it was Amun-Ra the "leader" of the Egyptian Pantheon who came to oversee the initial treaty.

3. #3Norse Faction

   Keys: Norse faction, Norse mythology, Mjölnir, Thor, Fenrir, Valhalla, Odin, Valkyrie, Loki, Walkure, Asgard, Mjolnir

   The pantheon of Vikings and those who live in the frigid north, with the leader being Odin the All-father of Asgard and all of the other Norse gods, he's a bit of an "old man" in comparison to the other pantheon leaders, and has a bit of a perverted streak but despite that he's still referred to as the 'Great Noble God' for a reason amongst other gods and pantheon leaders. Other huge figures of the Norse pantheon include Odin's countless children ranging from Baldur, Thor, Vidar, and many other figures and realms such as Asgard or Valhalla which is the "Heaven" equivalent for those of Norse belief.

4. #4Youkai Faction

   Keys: Amaterasu, Shinto pantheon, yuki onna, Buddha, monkey king, Youkai faction, nekomata, Buddhism, nekoshou, kitsune

   There are many other factions however outside of the Angels, Grigori, and Devils, but these factions remain neutral and tend to their own business and issues. The youkai faction otherwise known as the Shinto pantheon is made up of youkai originating from Shinto and Buddhist beliefs, the two having become intertwined to where the Buddhist and Shinto gods all work together as one pantheon. Youkai are capable of becoming devils, or angels, but as they are they're not weak to the light or demonic energy of the angels or devils, they often use elemental magics, or senjutsu which is life-energy. The leader of the Shinto and Youkai faction is Amaterasu, the Shinto god of the sun, she serves as the highest power in the Shinto Pantheon with Buddhas being the "second" in command alongside other gods such as Tsukuyomi.

   The European supernatural world is uniquely ran by no gods or pantheon due to just how many separate pantheons are combined to form the European supernatural world. Ranging from Celtic myths, Germanic legends, and many other instances of myth and legends from the European part of the world such as the Fae, elves, orcs, trolls, and other magical creatures. The fae are the most powerful group of the European world of supernatural entities however, even having their own realm known as the "Faewilds" a magical realm in which the Fae rule. All fae creatures follow 6 rules. Do not lie to a creature of the Fae, never accept gifts from creatures of the Fae as there might be a hidden price, never eat or drink Fae food, be polite and respectful, avoid saying "thank you" (as Fae will take this as the person who thanked them being in their debt), and to never give one's true name to a Fae they don't trust.

   One of the main 3 factions in the world, being the Angels from Biblical scriptures. All angels reside in the realm of Heaven, which is ran by the four great archangels Gabriel, Michael, Uriel, and Raphael due to the death of the Biblical God. However, the death of God is kept under INCREDIBLY tight lock and key, and is a secret only known by the four archangels, the seraphim, Azazel and his fellow Grigori generals, and the four current Devil Kings, and those in relation to them. Angels are creatures of divine light, and as such can weaponize light, and other holy objects, angels who sin become fallen angels.

7. #7True Excalibur

   Keys: True Excalibur, Original Excalibur, King Arthur's Excalibur

   One of the two legendary swords wielded by the mythical King Arthur Pendragon of Camalot, Excalibur is a powerful holy sword that was created through the uses of alchemy and magic. After King Arthur's death however, an incident occurred in which the legendary Excalibur was broken into seven distinct shards these shards being formed into their own sword with each one only containing a portion of the original Excalibur's power. Only recently has Excalibur been rebuilt, and it was given to Xenovia Quarta, who once wielded Excalibur Destruction.

8. #8Excalibur Destruction

   Keys: Holy Sword of Destruction, Excalibur Destruction, Excalibur Shard 01

   One of Excalibur's 7 shards, this was the first sword to be made, and it contained the uncontrollable power and destructive capabilities of the original Excalibur. This sword was kept under heavy lock and key by the Roman Catholic church until just two years ago when it was given to Xenovia Quarta who had to return this sword to the Vatican after she realised the truth that God was dead. Excalibur Destruction now no longer exists, as the original Excalibur has been restored.

9. #9Excalibur Mimic

   Keys: Excalibur Mimic, Excalibur Shard 02, Holy Sword of Mimicry

   The second shard of Excalibur to be made into its own sword, Excalibur Mimic contains Excalibur's ability to change shape and mimic any sword in shape, function, or style. Even more unorthodox styles of blade. This shard of Excalibur was kept hidden by the Protestant Catholics, who had given the sword to Irina Shidou, and it remained her sword until very recently when she gave up her sword to fix Durandal. Excalibur Mimic no longer exists however, as the original Excalibur has been repaired.

10. #10Excalibur Rapidly

    Keys: Excalibur Shard 03, Excalibur Rapibly, Holy Sword of the Heavenly Flash

    The third shard of the original Excalibur, it contains the Excalibur's immense speed granting abilities. As those who are capable of wielding this Excalibur were gifted with not only great movement speed, but also great reaction speed and agility. This shard was under the protection of the Roman Catholic church and the Vatican until it was stolen by Kokabiel and his rebellious group of fallen angels. It had since been returned to the Roman Catholic church, but it now no longer exists for it's been reunited with the other 7 shards to form the original Excalibur.

11. #11Excalibur Nightmare

    The fourth shard of Excalibur, this specific sword contained Excalibur's ability to create illusions and even enter and alter the dreams of others. This sword has never had a wielder, much like Excalibur Rapidly, and had been kept under lock and key by the Protestant Church. It's now no longer in existence, for it's reunited with the other 7 shards reforming the original Excaliibur.

12. #12Excalibur Transparency

    The 5th shard of Excalibur, this shard contained Excalibur's ability to make its wielder invisible to all forms of detection excluding sound, thus making the user AND its sword transparent. This shard of Excalibur was kept under lock and key by the Eastern Orthodox churches, and was never granted to an official wielder, as such it's never been used and no longer exists for it's now back with the other 6 shards forming the true Excalibur.

13. #13Excalibur Blessing

    The 6th shard of Excalibur, while Excalibur Destruction contained the holy destructive power, Excalibur Blessing contained the purity of Excalibur, which makes this sword's true use more noticeable during holy rituals like exorcisms, as such this sword's holy purity makes it especially more effective against devils and vampires. This sword was kept under lock ad key by the Eastern Orthodox church, and was recently taken and alongside the other 7 shards were recombined back into the original Excalibur.

14. #14Excalibur Ruler

    The last and final shard of Excalibur, it also happens to be the most powerful as it contained the Excalibur's ability of controlling anyone or anything that the wielder wants regardless of the entity's power. This sword was once under Eastern Orthodox watch, but had been stolen by Arthur who was a descendent of King Arthur. The sword would be later given to Irina, who would then give the sword away, as it would later be combined with all the other shards so that the original Excalibur would be built.

    Swords of Christian origin that were blessed and made out of metals that were left to soak in holy water, these swords are lethal against Devils, and can come in various forms. But they're almost always in the form of European swords. however there exists the very rare instances of holy swords being fashioned after other styles of blades mostly Asian, Russian, or Indian styles of blades.

    After the fully settled peace treaty between the Angels, Grigori, and Devils, the Devils and Grigori allowed the Angels to use some of their own resources, and in the case of Devils they allowed the Angels to somewhat replicate their reincarnation system aka the Evil Piece System, however unlike the Devils who followed chess, Angels went with basing their reincarnation system on the 4 card suits Spades, Hearts, Clubs, and Diamonds. This system was created due to the fact that the Biblical God is dead, and without him Heaven couldn't receive any new angels, due to it being a new system however only the four arch-angels and VERY high-ranking angels are allowed to have their own set of cards. The cards have no real meaning like the pieces of the Evil Piece system, those revived with a card higher in number are simply more powerful meanwhile the Joker is the most powerful beneath the King and Queen.

17. #17Homunculus

    Given that the supernatural world exists, things such as alchemical entities and creatures of magic or spells could be created even without the requirement for any actual biological material outside of small bits of DNA, as such things like Homunculi which are 'fake life' born out of faint traces of DNA and other sources can easily exist, however due to their odd existence not many live to see 10 years of existence, as they are only born out of alchemical magic and science with small traces of DNA. Very rare instances some Homunculi can live to be over centuries or even eons old, but due to lacking much of a natural life, almost none of them feel emotions, but they're still "human" enough to be capable of being given a sacred gear or even revived by either the angels or devils. Homunculi were looked down upon by all branches of the Christian churches due to "artificial life" and those who use magic often being seen as heretical or blasphemous to God's will.

18. #18Sacred Gears

    A sacred gear is a 'weapon' created by the Biblical God prior to his death, almost all sacred gears are magical entities or even just spells in physical form that are randomly born in people, the Biblical God had created this system as a way for humans to be capable of fighting back in the event one of the Supernatural factions tried to cause mayhem on Earth, sacred gears come in various forms and have very different abilities or functions, but only those who are human or a human hybrid are capable of being born with sacred gears. When born with a sacred gear, the gear is tied intrinsically to the human (or hybrid's) soul, so if their sacred gear were to be removed, then the wielder would die as a result and the sacred gear would return to the system and be granted to a newborne after an undetermined amount of time.

19. #19Canis Lykaon

    Keys: Canis Lykaon, Dog God of the Black Blade

    One of the 13 Longinus, Canis Lykaon is a unique instance of God using two sources to create a sacred gear. One being the King of Arcadia, Lycaon who incurred the wrath of Zeus, causing the King to be turned into a wolf after being cursed; and the Ame-no-Ohabari, the divine sword in Shintoism used to kill Hinokagutsuchi. As a result of the distortion caused by the union of both, the Sacred Gear was turned from a wolf into a dog, and Lycaon's curse also tainted the legendary sword, resulting in the blade losing its divinity and turning into an ominous blade. It is one of the few instances of a Sacred Gear having an active body, allowing it to exist without a host. Currently, the host is a young man (21) in the Grigori known as Tobio Ikuse, who is the first cousin-once removed to Shuri Himejima, making him Akeno's second cousin.

20. #20Regulus Nemea

    Keys: Regulus Nemea, Regulus, Battle Axe of the Lion King, Sairaorg's sacred gear, Regulus Nemea juggernaut drive, Breakdown the Beast, Regulus Rey Leather Rex Imperial Purpure, Invincible Purple Skin of the Lion King - Beast of Supremacy, Beast of Supremacy

    The one and only known instance of a sacred gear being owned by a pure-blooded devil, Regulus Nemea was the strongest of Nemean lions; being named Regulus, for it is the lion who had faught against the mighty Heracles but God had sealed the liion within a sacred gear, making it one of the 13 longinus. Regulus Nemea had only one wielder prior to Sairaorg, but that past wielder was killed. This unleashed the lion, who would kill those who had dared to kill its wielder, making Regulus Nemea one of the few sacred gears to exist outside of a host, often-times appearing as a golden 5-meter tall lion, it was in this state that Sairaorg had found and wrestled Regulus, earning the lion's respect, allowing him to use it as a sacred gear. Regulus's second form, is that of a predominately gold single-edged axe, the blade being silver. The middle of the axe has a design of the Regulus Nemea in it's lion form engraved in it. On the other side of the axe are three curved silver protrusions situated at the bottom, middle and top of that side of the axe. On the top is a golden diamond with a silver diamond in the middle and below the bottom of the center of the axe, are two protrusions in the shape of a diamond but with the edges being prolonged.

    The sacred gear has two other forms that happens when Sairaorg isn't using it with its axe form, the first being Regulus Rey Leather Rex which is a golden lion-themed full-bodied armor. In this state, it focuses the immense earth-breaking powers of Regulus Nemea onto his fists, resulting in an increase in offensive power, while protecting the user from projectile-based attacks. The second form; the sacred gear's "Juggernaut drive" (or Brakdown the Beast) is named Invincible Purple Skin of the Lion King - Beast of Supremacy, in which it releases the power of the Nemean Lion, at the cost of using its owner's life-force as the power source. In this form, Sairaorg's armor changes into a more aggressive form that has gold and purple double-tone, wrapped in an intense purple Touki with gold tinge added on it. But it cannot be sustained for long.

21. #21Eyes of Sin

    Keys: Eyes of Sin, Eyes of the Scapegoat, Goat of Azazel, The Goat of Leviticus, Azazel's Goat, Goat of the Dimensional Gap, Goat Icon of Sin

    The eyes and energy core belonging to the Scapegoat of Leviticus 16:21, the goat that had been forced to bear all of humanity's sins (including the original sin,) before being cast out into the wilderness. Upon being forced to bear all of those sins, the goat would somehow end up in the Dimensional Gap and stare out into infinity with its newfound sentience. This, and the weight of all that sin killed it. The sacred gear this goat would go on to become was highly prized by many older devils and fallen angels due to the abilities it brought. Granting the bearer access to seven distinctive demonic powers assigned to each sin, but also the life energy/senjutsu that the goat naturally had.

    Ocular abilities: The user's eyes turn into the eyes of the Goat, purple-ish grey with black horizontal bar pupils, the more sins the bearer expresses the specks of colour representing the other sins appear. (Red=Pride, Yellow=Gluttony, Orange=Envy, Green=Greed, Lavender=Sloth, Pink=Lust, Blue=Wrath.) Upon activation, the user's sight, processing speed, and sensory abilities are cranked up allowing them to even be able to access an "X-ray" of sorts, where the user can see the distinct energies of those around them. Energy core: A result of all the sins being forced onto the goat, it gained the ability to use pure sin energy, but also boosting its own senjutsu/chakra. The energy of sin has seven distinctive colours, but it cannot be used to form magic circles. The energy is equivalent to Demonic power, as such it can only be wielded like demonic power.

    This sacred gear has unfortunately been rarely documented, having only been seen once in the past. The one bearer however, would unfortunately be overcome by the sin, and is often remembered by devils as "the human reincarnation of the Sin" before the first bearer died. So there is little to no information about it. Ophis has mentioned that the goat's body still resides within the Dimensional Gap, ever-floating.

22. #22Snake of Infinity

    Keys: Dream of Infinity, Snake God of Dreams, Dream of the Snake God, Snake of Infinite Dreams, Snake of Dreams, Snake of Infinity

    A sacred gear that wasn't created by God, but of its own volition. The divide between snake and dragon has been a divide ever since creation, it was law. Snakes could never become a dragon. There was a single snake who tried, a snake who held deep love for both serpent and dragon. It at first only took the discarded scales of countless dragons, and joining those scales to their body, granting the snake echoes of these dragon's power, the snake feeling like its love and dream were to come true, would eventually begin to fight dragons face to face to continue its dream. But as the snake grew in power, it eventually entered Dimensional Gap with a protective barrier and would come across another discarded scale, unaware that the scale belonged to Ophis. Upon adding it to their body, the serpent would be made truly aware of how its dream, fueled by its love was impossible, for the gap between snake and dragon was simply infinite. Realizing this, the snake would seal itself away within a sacred gear, the snake also removed the dream of becoming a dragon from the collective conscious of serpents and snakes, but it would seal this dream away with itself.

    The gear the snake sealed itself and its power into appears as metal snake bracelets, and grants its bearer limited access to draconic power but also senjutsu (though this senjutsu is born from the infinite dream the serpent had sealed away into itself, rather than actual life energy.) The more skilled the bearer gets, the more scales and power echoes they can pull from will increase, until they reach the balance breaker (Infinite Drive.) This gear's balance breaker comes in the form of clawed gauntlets made up of the countless scales the snake had taken, but also a leaking touki/senjutsu (physical manifestation of the dream it had sealed within itself.)

    The powers the snake gathered were fragments of so many dragons, to the point where it is on the level of the dragon kings in power. The snake itself had a... Conflicted affinity for dragons. Dragons hold no love for each other, that may be true. But no dragon likes a snake, for it is principle. There is respect for this snake however, for it did the one thing no snake ever could. It TRIED. It was recognized by dragons for its efforts, and the fact that it hadn't used underhanded methods to get where it got. But it was assumed that the serpent died, as this sacred gear has had no bearer.

23. #23Thorn Ring

    Keys: Freeze Ring, Ice Ring, Thorn ring, ring of thorns, ring of offering, ring of pain

    The Ice Ring (or Freeze Ring) is one of the rare few sacred gear that comes in the form of a ring. But unlike other sacred gears; this one's balance breaker is... Distinct. The sacred gear (Ice/Freeze Ring) can be summoned as either one or two rings (one on each ring finger), and is of a plant-like material with ice crystals embedded within it, that grants the bearer an affinity with holy ice magic but also plant magic. Upon reaching balance breaker however, the sacred gear will be permanently locked into its new state; that being the Thorn Ring (often referred to as the Crown of Christ,) in this state, the plant ring (or rings) become brown and more wood-like in texture, with brambles and thorns on the ring that stabs into the host's skin, causing pain but in return boosting the bearer's affinity with holy ice and plant magic, but also senjutsu, which is why all known past wielders always died upon reaching balance breaker; they weren't prepared for the new energy, nor the major boost that came with unlocking it and thus die from it. The reason for this, is because this sacred gear is what of the Crown of Thorns forced upon the head of Christ during his crucifixion, meaning the senjutsu and holy aspect to it is FAR greater than what the Ice Ring had.

    An unfortunate side-effect for all of this sacred gear's bearers dying shortly after awakening its balance breaker, is that there's no genuine information on the full abilities of the balance breaker.

24. #24The Grigori

    Keys: Grigori, fallen angels, fallen

    Much like their name implies, the Grigori otherwise known as Fallen Angels are angels that were once high in power but have since fallen from the grace of the Biblical God after falling victim to impure or sinful thoughts, their halos shattering meanwhile their once white feathery wings now turned raven black, as they embraced sin but still maintained their holy weapons and magic, and still hold an advantage over the Devils. The fallen angels live in the Underworld with the Devils, but are far away from the devil territories.

25. #25Azazel

    Keys: Governor General of the Grigori, Azazel

    A man who looked to be in his 20s, Azazel was the first ever angel to have fallen from God's grace and was the one ho created the Grigori as a whole. Serving as the highest power and leading force of the entire organisation, out of everyone who was involved in the Three-Way War however he was the least interested in ever restarting the war and was much happier with the peace even if the angels or devils didn't trust him. He's often laid-back albeit still a bit mad in the head due to his interests in collecting sacred gears for research, however his reason for becoming a fallen angel was the sin of lust, as such it's not too surprising that he's got a bit of a perverted streak and has had harems over the millennia. He was the first out of the three factions too want peace, and has even gotten himself in a mentor-like relationship with Rias and her peerage.

26. #26Shemhazai

    Keys: Shemhazai, Vice-Governer General of the Grigori

    The second in command of the Grigori, Shemhazai's one of Azazel's closest friends and his most loyal underling. Despite such respect and loyalty however, Shemhazai's not against stepping up and putting Azazel back in his place in the event he ever gets too overbearing or perverted in his antics. The reason for Shemhazai's fall from God's grace and falling, was because he had sex with a human woman which was against the rules.

27. #27Baraqiel

    Keys: Akeno's Father, Baraqiel, Executive of the Grigori, Lightning of God

    One of the first angels to have fallen, Baraqiel was once an angel known for carrying the lightning of the Biblical God, as he's capable of wielding holy lightning. Even when he fell from Heaven, he retained this magical capability and has remained by Azazel's side as one of the highest ranking members in the Grigori organisation. He's also Akeno Himejima's father, as he was found by her mother when he was injured, the human woman would heal him and the two would thus fall in love with each other. This love would result in the death of Shuri however, as she was a member in a family of shrine maidens who weren't acceptable of the love between a human and fallen angel, so when Baraqiel was gone Shuri's family would go on to kill Shuri in cold blood and nearly kill Akeno. This incident soured Baraqiel and Akeno's relationship, but it has recently become more amicable and friendly.

28. #28Kokabiel

    Keys: Kokabiel

    Kokabiel once a pure angel, had fallen from God's graces much like Azazel and the other fallen angel leaders. Unlike the others however, Kokabiel was a war-monger and was one of the few fallen angels who weren't happy with the peace that the three Biblical factions had, and as such had wanted to try and respark the war between the Grigori, Devils, and Angels. He failed however, and was taken to Azazel by Vali, and as punishment trying to respark the war he was sealed in the frozen icy abyss of Cocytus.

29. #29Valper Galilei

    Keys: Valper Galilei, Genocide Archbishop, Galilei, Valper

    Valper Galilei was once a bishop of the Christian church, more specifically the Vatican and the Roman Catholic branch of Christianity. But he was a sick and twisted man, as he was the one responsible for the Holy Sword Project and the countless deaths of countless orphans as a result. Because of such actions, he was cast out by the Churches and earned the name of the Genocide Archbishop, and would go on to become a member of the Grigori, working under Kokabiel specifically. He would later be killed by Kokabiel however, when Valper had learned that the Biblical God was dead upon witnessing Kiba Yuuto's (a survivor of the Holy Sword Project) sacred gear.

30. #30Dragons

    Keys: Dragons, dragon

    Dragons are powerful supernatural beings, considered the strongest aside from the Gods themselves, admired, respected, and feared no matter the era. Among the supernatural, Dragons, as an entire race, an very few of them sided with those from the Three Factions during the Great War, they are creatures of pride and greed, acting freely based off of their own desires and urges without a care for others. Dragons are resistant to most forms of magics and poisons, but they are only weak to dragon-slayer magic, magics of the fae (Faeries, pixies, sprites, fairies), and a poison created by the Biblical God known as the 'Dragon Eater' it was created due to his hatred of dragons and snakes. Dragons have a ranking in their power system that starts with low-level dragons, high-class dragons, the 5 dragon kings, evil dragons, the two heavenly dragons, and then Dragon Gods.

31. #31Ascalon

    Keys: Saint George's sword, Holy Dragon Slayer, Ascalon

    Ascalon is a holy sword with dragon-slayer capabilities that was wielded by Saint George who would go on to kill a dragon with it. This sword is a European sword with a reddish-purple grip and a golden hilt with stylized crosses at the edges of the guard, and with the death of Saint George, it was held by the angels, but was recently gifted to Issei Hyoudou around the time of the peace treaty between the three factions as a gift of good will. Issei will occasionally lend Ascalon to either Xenovia or Kiba, but the sword is otherwise absorbed into his boosted gear.

32. #32Tiamat

    Keys: Tiamat, Chaos Karma Dragon, Blue Dragon King, Blue Dragon

    The only female Dragon King out of the 5 dragon king, she's known as the Chaos Karma Dragon due to her being a dragon created from the chaos of the universe and the karma of humanity, and is a large Western dragon with celestial blue scales. She's one of the few remaining Legendary Dragons from ancient times and as such is one of the most powerful dragons alongside her fellow dragon kings. There is no love between them however, it's only a begrudging respect. Coincidentally, she happens to have a vendetta against Ddraig. The reason for this is because the red dragon had borrowed some of her treasures but when Ddraig was sealed away by God, Tiamat's treasures were stolen and spread throughout the globe, leading to her holding an eternal grudge against Ddraig and any Boosted Gear wielders. She happens to have a more humanoid form, and in this state she looks like a woman with long blue hair, but also having cold blue eyes.

33. #33Yu-Long

    Keys: Jade Dragon King, Mischievous Dragon, Yu-Long, Jade Dragon

    One of the 5 current dragon kings, Yu-Long is an Eastern-style dragon with deep red eyes, green scales, and an underbelly that's a lighter green. Noticeably out of all the Dragon Kings, he's the only one in current partnership, as he happens to be the partner of the former monkey king Sun Wukong, he is the self-proclaimed "Liveliest dragon" but that is merely because he's the youngest out of the 5 dragon kings. So despite his great power, he's still a bit cowardly when facing much older or stronger opponents such as Fenrir.

34. #34Midgardsormr

    Keys: Grey Dragon King, Midgardsormr, Jörmungandr, Ophis's Relative, World Serpent, Sleeping Dragon, Grey Dragon

    Known as the world's serpent from Norse mythology, Midgardsormr is the oldest out of all the dragon kings, even being larger than all of them too, being longer in length that Great Red 5 times over. He's a dark grey eastern dragon with a body length that's over 600 metres, but as the 'Sleeping Dragon', he's often sleeping and rarely if ever gets involved in the matter of other factions. Which has earned him the title of being lazy and aloof since he views his creator Loki and his own brother Fenrir to be meaningless, he is (technically) the closest genetic relative to Ophis due to his depictions in mythology often involve him looping in and eating his own tail in an endless loop.

35. #35Vritra

    Keys: Evil Dragon King, Vritra, Black Dragon King, Prison Dragon King, Black Dragon, Prison Dragon

    Formerly allied with the Asura gods (before he was killed by and sealed into various sacred gears byIndra), Vritra's the only one of the 5 current dragon kings to be sealed into a sacred gear, 4 to be exact. As his title implies, he's a black-scaled eastern-styled dragon with violet eyes and tendrils that grow and flow alongside his body. He was known for his abilities of umbrakinesis and even power absorption and transferring it. In terms of power he's the weakest dragon king, but makes for it by being the most gifted when it comes to his techniques and abilities.

36. #36Fafnir

    Keys: Golden Dragon Monarch, Gigantis Dragon, Fafnir, Golden Dragon King, Golden Dragon

    Fafnir; one of the 5 dragon kings is a 10 metre tall golden-scaled western-styled dragon who's also of Norse mythology. He's the greediest out of the 5 dragon kings, as he has collected various hordes of treasure and has hidden them all throughout the world. But he's also the least prideful out of the other five dragon kings as he was willing to assist Azazel in his sacred gear studies and research.

37. #37Tannin

    Keys: Blaze Meteor Dragon, Maroon Dragon King, Ex-Dragon King, Tannin, Maroon Dragon

    Once the member of the 5 Dragon Kings (as he was the 5th member before Yu-Long), he's a 15-metre tall western-stytled dragon with mostly maroon scales with white scales on his belly and chest with curved horns. A dragon with a warrior's spirit, much like Fafnir, Tannin was never prideful or selfish like other dragons and was genuinely caring about his fellow dragons, but also has fire so powerful that it's comparable to literal meteor strikes in terms of power. He lost his title of Dragon King however, when he was revived as a devil by the devil named Mephisto Pheles. Tannin is now independant and is even an Ultimate-class devil, who has helped Issei Hyoudou with his training more than once.

38. #38Great Red/Ophis

    Keys: Ophis, True Dragon, Great Red, Dragon of Dragons, Apocalypse Dragon, Dragon God, Dragon of Dreams, Dragon of Infinity

    The two strongest dragons in all of existence, and the only things capable of surviving in the Dimensional Gap, a void where all other forms of life are incapable of living in. Great Red is referred as a TRUE dragon or the Apocalypse Dragon, being a western-styled dragon that's covered in crimson red scales and has four wings in total being 100 metres in length. He took over the Dimensional Gap as his home, usurping Ophis. Great Red is the dragon that as recorded in Apocalypse in the Book of Revelations.

    Ophis however is the Dragon God who represents the concept of Infinity, Chaos, and Nothingness, as her title she's also known as the Ouroboros Dragon and is Jörmungandr's closest genetic relative in terms of dragons due to their relation in mythology. As the dragon of Infinity, with 100% of her power she would be infinite in strength, but she was betrayed by the Khaos Brigade (who tricked Ophis into being their leader with the promise of helping her get rid of Great Red so she can return to the Dimensional Gap) and had some of her power sapped, meaning her power is now "finite" but still stronger than almost all living beings. Ophis is a shape-shifter and thus has no true form, but she is currently in the form of a human-like girl.

39. #39Draigg

    Draigg being Albion's rival, is the other half of the two Heavenly Dragons, being stronger than even the 5 Dragon Kings but weaker than Ophis and Great Red. Draigg is a large Western-styled dragon with green eyes, and his quarrel with Albion had been why the Three-Way-War had been forced to end in the first place. With his death he was sealed into the sacred gear known as the Boosted Gear, a longinus that comes in the form of a red gauntlet with a red gem and clawed fingers. The ability of this sacred gear is 'Boost', which allows the user to double their power, with the only limit being how much power the user's body can handle, this makes him the direct opposite to Albion's Divine Dividing who 'Divides' an opponent's power in half. Despite this opposition, the two share the same evolution of their base state, then scale mail (an armour in the colour of their respective dragon), Balance Breaker (the evolved state of the sacred gear), and then Juggernaut Drive

40. #40Draigg's Juggernaut Drive

    Keys: Boosted Gear's Juggernaut Drive, Juggernaut Drive Chant

    Juggernaut Drive is a forbidden technique that breaks down the seal placed on the Boosted Gear allowing the user to use all of Draigg's power at the cost of their sanity and life force. Using this transforms the armour of Balance Breaker into an armour that's more draconian in nature. There is a chant to activate Juggernaut drive, but the voices of the Boosted Gear's past wielders can be heard, meaning the full chant is as follows "I, who shall awaken..." <It's starting.> "Am the Heavenly Dragon who has stolen the principles of domination from God." <That is correct, always and forever.> "I laugh at the 'infinite', and fret over the 'dream'." <What the world desires….> "I shall become the Red Dragon of Domination," <<No matter the occasion, you will always choose the path to Ruin.>> ''And I shall sink you to the depths of a Crimson Purgatory'' Upon this chant's completion, the user's aura will become indistinguishable from Draigg's as the two will become one in the same, the only way for this state to be broken is if the user is calmed down from whatever caused the transformation, otherwise they will continue to cause rampant destruction until their death.

41. #41Albion

    Keys: Divine Dividing, Albion, White Dragon, White Dragon Emperor, White Dragon of Supremacy

    Albion is the other half of the Two Heavenly Dragons, being stronger than all other dragons, even the dragon kings with only Ophis and Great Red being stronger than him. Albion was a large eastern-styled white scaled dragon with blue eyes and was sealed into the sacred gear known as Divine Dividing. Divine Dividing is a longinus dragon-type sacred gear, and comes in the form of of white Dragon wings on the user's back, with eight energy "feathers". The main ability of Divine Dividing is to allow the user to divide the powers of those around them, this makes Divine Dividing the direct opposite of Draigg's Boosted Gear. Divine Dividing and the Boosted Gear have the same method of progression, first is their base state, then comes Scail Mail (armour that's the colour of their respective dragon), Balance Breaker which is the evolved state, and then Juggernaut Drive.

42. #42Albion's Juggernaut Drive

    Keys: Divine Dividing's Juggernaut Drive, Albion's Juggernaut Drive

    Much like the Boosted Gear's Juggernaut Drive, this is a forbidden technique where the seal placed on Albion in Divine Dividing is broken and allows the user to call from the true power of Albion at the cost of his life force and sanity. Divine Dividing's Divide ability is greatly enhanced in this state, and the armour of Divine Dividing's Balance Breaker also becomes more draconian in nature and appearance. There is a chant to activate this form, and the chant is as follows, "I, who shall awaken. Am the Heavenly Dragon who lost it all to the ideals of Supremacy. I envy the 'infinite', and pursue the 'dream'. I shall become the White Dragon of Supremacy, and drown you in the depths of Innocence." Much like Juggernaut Drive for the Boosted Gear, if the user can't control themselves the only way to break this form is if they're calmed down. Otherwise they will continue to divide the dimensions and cause destruction until the user dies.

43. #43Senjutsu

    Senjutsu is an art that involves the tapping into life-force and chi, using is for offensive, defensive, or even supporting roles. However this is a very risk form of power, as those who use it without being careful can end up absorbing all of the negativity life energies and thus driving them mad with power and causing them to go wild with their baser instincts. Using senjutsu, one can even directly attack the chi and charka points of others, but senjutsu can also be used in more sensual matters like teasing a lover or their own nerves, or even allowing two partners to blend their energies together.

44. #44Holy Magic

    The magic of the angels and fallen angels, holy magic comes in the form of glowing solidified light in the forms of whatever weapon the angel or fallen angel decides to form it into. These weapons and all forms of holy magic are a poison to devils, and will burn devils who are in the presence of holy magic.

    The magic source of all devils and devil adjacent creatures such as Oni. The magic of a devil is poisonous to angels and fallen angels, and unlike light weapons, devil magic can come in various forms and have various effects.

    The great wizard Merlin existed back in the years of alchemical and magical belief amongst humans were highest. It was through his actions of sharing the secrets of magic with humans, that magic became an actual tool to a select few groups of humans that would go on to become witches and wizards whilst passing down the knowledge of magic. Because of such actions, Merlin would be condemned by the churches during the 6th century and would later be killed by radical Christians. His actions however could not be undone, as magic had spread throughout the world by modern day but in very secluded and secretive groups.

47. #47Devil Civil War

    After the events of the Three-Way War, the Devils were left in a tight space as their numbers were essentially halved from 72 families with the extra clans, to now only being 32 remaining clans and fewer extra clans. This loss caused a divide, as the four original Maous, Lucifer, Beelzebub, Leviathan, and Asmodeus had wanted to continue the war, with their own followers, but the other half of the Devil population (who became known as the New Maou Faction) didn't want to return to war. The proceeding civil war was bloody, and got so bad that the four original maous, Lucifer, Beelzebub, Leviathan, and Asmodeus would all perish, leaving the Devils without any rulers for a short period of time.

    Following the Ars Goetia there were once 72 Devil family bloodlines in the Underworld, or "The 72 Pillars of Hell" in other words, these 72 families all served under the original 4 great devil kings, or the 'Four Maous', these four Devils being named Lucifer, Asmodeus, Leviathan, and Beelzebub. Devils are creatures of sin and impure urges, but not all devils are inherently benevolent, but the population issue caused by the Three-Way War has caused some internal problems within Devil society.

    The hierarchy in Devil society has always been set in stone, as it ranged solely off of a devil's power and potential. The ones who were treated the worst like dirt in the Devil hierarchy were devils who were of devil and human relationships (A human/devil hybrid) and mixed-race devils (the offspring of a pure devil and a revived devil), they're seen as impure or are looked down upon with scorn and hatred by the older more prideful devils of the old council. The rankings are as follows; low class devils (devils who are a part of a high-class devil's peerage, or simply a commoner in the Underworld), Mid-class devil (a pure devil who lives in a high-class territory, or revived devils who have reached the requirements needed for an increase in their ranking) high-class devils (Young devils born from the remaining 32 pillars, and revived devils who have reached a point in which they can upgrade from mid-class) Ultimate-class devils (The highest possible ranking only achieved by those born with the potential and power. Devils who reach this rank can become a maou if there's an opening, or they become an Archduke, Archduchess, Duke, Duchess, Prince, or Princess.)

50. #50Rating Games

    The Rating Game was created after the introduction of the Evil Pieces by Ajuka Beelzebub. The Rating Game is used to measure a Devil's strength which will reflect their social standing in the Underworld, the top-10 peerages in the Underworld are seen as heroes to the Devils, but it's the top 5 who have remained at the top for the longest. Rating Games a strategic battle between the King and his/her pieces and another King and their pieces. It is fought on a map of their choosing, and can be created to be a perfect replica of any location they desire. Only matured Devils are allowed to participate in official Rating Games. The servants of the Devils are named after the pieces of chess: Rook, Knight, Queen, Bishop, and Pawn. The max number of players in a Rating Game on each side is 16 and like the game of chess, the players lose when their King loses.
