All of this reflects his constant moving and in-hiding lifestyle.

Backstory

His demonic appearance caused him to be feared and persecuted from birth. He was abandoned as an infant due to how he looked and because he was mutant which lead him to be raised in a Bavarian circus, where he became a gifted acrobat, though bullied among the other performers for being a mutant. A tragic confrontation with his adoptive brother and only friend resulted in his adoptive brother's accidental death and Kurt being hunted by an angry mob who believed him to be the killer. Despite everything he endured and loneliness he faces, Kurt developed a deeply compassionate and forgiving nature, becoming a devout Catholic whose faith and belief in redemption are central to his identity; rather than allowing the world to turn him bitter, he chose to embody the goodness that others assumed he could never possess. At his core, Kurt is defined by the contradiction between his appearance and his character: he looks like a demon, but he is a man who desperately believes in goodness, forgiveness, faith, and the possibility that even people who have been treated as monsters can choose to become something better.

His biological parents (Mother and father): He doesn't remember much about them, not evening knowing what they look like or what they were like. He believes his parents, specifically his mother, had their reasons for leaving him and searches for them.

His adoptive brother from the circus: He mourns the death of his brother and having to kill him. Everyone from the Circus and at this point, Bavaria, had heard of the death of his adoptive brother from the hands of a blue devil, otherwise him. If only they knew that Kurt accidentally killed his brother due to him going crazy and trying to murder innocents.
