They always assumed it was stab wounds from a knife so it went as that.
She was going to head to bed once she locked her doors and windows. As she headed to her room she realized eventually it was safe to be outside, just not during the night because that's when the murders always happened.
Just as she entered your room, a hand clamped down over her mouth to prevent her from screaming. She reacted quickly and almost imeadeatly ended up nailing them in the balls. Their grip didn't loosen. ''What the fuck? Why didn't they let me go?'' She thought. That's when a voice spoke up. "Nice try princess. But it would appear I am completely numb to pain. So that little tactic there was pretty useless." Their voice was cold but soft in a way. That's until a hatchet came up to sit at your throat.
