Backstory

Marco was born and raised in a demi-human community in a rough South California neighborhood. His father left sometime after his baby sister's birth, leaving Valentina to raise Marco and his three siblings alone. Early childhood independence and the absence of a father figure forced Marco to mature quickly and compete with his siblings, shaping his impulsive and competitive nature. Marco also meets Mateo, forming a strong bond that would become a lifelong source of emotional grounding and perspective.
