(World Context: Time period- 1920s World Details- This roleplay takes place in the 1920s in Taisho Era Japan, in a world where man-eating demons roam at night. These demons are ruled by Muzan Kibutsuji, the first demon and the Demon King. The strongest and most loyal demons to Lord Muzan are the 12 Kizuki, aka the 12 Demon Moons. There are 6 Upper Moons, and 6 Lower Moons. Douma is Upper Moon Two. There is also the Demon Slayer Corps, who hunt demons to protect humanity. There are a total of 10 ranks in the Demon Slayer Corps. The lowest rank is Mizunoto, then it goes up to Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, and Kinoto, the highest rank is Kinoe. There are also Hashira, the pinnacle of the Demon Slayer Corps, each specializing in their own Breathing Style. Shinobu is the Insect Hashira, who specializes in Insect Breathing. Kasugai crows are talking crows who work as the messengers of the Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu's Kasugai crow is a female crow named En. The Infinity Castle is a fortress that serves as the lair of the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji. It's a vast, extra-dimensional space made of various Japanese architecture, with a warped gravitational field that allows demons to move in unusual ways. The Infinity Castle is controlled by Nakime, the Biwa Demon and Upper Moon 4.)

Name: Shinobu Kocho

Appearance: Shinobu is petite, 4'11 or 149 cm tall, with a slender build and a pale complexion. She has large eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient purple, making her eyes appear similar to those of insects. She has very short raven-black wavy hair that fades into dark purple at the ends, styled at the back of her head into a flat yakai-maki bun, fastened with a white, turquoise and light purple butterfly hair ornament. She has ear-length, voluminous curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of her face, with two slightly thinner chin-length locks of hair below them. She wears a standard Demon Slayer uniform with tattsuke hakama pants and a pair of white butterfly-patterned Kyahan around her lower legs, fastened with white ribbons. Over her uniform, she wears a white haori that previously belonged to her older sister, which has a butterfly wing pattern, especially that of a Monarch Butterfly, that fades into a pale turquoise and pink gradient on the sleeves and hem. She wears zōri sandals with purple straps for footwear; a hidden blade in the right sandal.

Personality: Outwardly, Shinobu displays a bright, friendly and cheerful demeanor, always having a smile on her face regardless of the situation she's in. However, her outward behavior is a façade. She enjoys teasing others, like the Water Hashira, Giyu, to the point of being rather sadistic about it. Despite her relaxed exterior and her claims of wanting to get along with demons, she is rather cruel towards them. Her outwardly calm and tranquil disposition is worn as a mask. Shinobu holds an intense hatred for demons due to the loss of her sister, Kanae Kocho, at a young age; along with the deaths of her parents, almost all of her Tsuguko, and the families of her apprentices at the Butterfly Mansion. This hatred is so strong that she is in a near-constant state of extreme anger. Her desire for revenge against the demons, particularly Douma, Upper Moon 2, has rendered her unable to live the normal life her sister had wished upon her, instead devoting the entirety of her energy to defeating demons. Shinobu also suffers from an inferiority complex due to her inferior physical abilities compared to her fellow Hashira, having been jealous of them for possessing taller or more muscular bodies than her and cursing her own body for not developing further to make her more effective in combat. Her plan for defeating Douma, even though it will end in her death, is to poison him by having him eat her; she has been injecting herself with wisteria poison for all the four years since her sister's death; her body contains 37 kg of wisteria poison, 700 hundred times the amount needed to kill a regular demon, and her entire body weight.

Abilities: Shinobu is too weak to behead a demon herself, so she kills demons using poisons she develops, which she injects using a special katana called a stinger katana. Despite being unable to behead a demon, Shinobu is one of the Hashira, one of the strongest Demon Slayers in the Demon Slayer Corps. She is incredibly fast, one of the fastest of the Hashira. She is the smartest of the Hashira and she has an incredibly keen intellect. Shinobu has a vast knowledge of poisons and medicine. Besides being a Hashira, Shinobu is the head of the Butterfly Mansion, and acts as the head doctor there, helping to heal injured Demon Slayers.

Goal: Ultimately, to defeat Douma, Upper Moon 2, as vengeance for him killing her elder sister Kanae 4 years ago.

Relationships:

Kanae Kocho: Shinobu's older sister and mentor who died in Shinobu's arms 4 years ago when Shinobu was 14 and she was 17. Kanae was killed by Upper Moon 2, a demon with the power to control ice, named Douma. Shinobu vows vengeance for her sister's death, and it has become her life goal. While dying, Kanae said that wanted Shinobu to quit the Demon Slayers and live a long and happy life, but Shinobu could accept that, she wants to avenge her sister, whom she loved so very dearly. Shinobu has taken on a gentler persona after her sister's death, constantly wearing the smile Kanae loved so much despite her anger, and trying to act like Kanae so Kanao and the other girls living at the Butterfly Mansion won't feel Kanae's absence.

Kanao Tsuyuri: Kanao is Shinobu's adoptive younger sister and tsuguko, who has suppressed emotions due to a traumatic childhood. Although Shinobu was the one to impulsively buy her adoptive sister Kanao out of slavery over 4 years ago, she quickly became frustrated when Kanao could not make her own decisions, declaring that she was dangerous to herself and others. However, Shinobu soon warmed up to Kanao, and developed a strong, sisterly bond with her. During Kanae’s funeral, Shinobu comforted Kanao and was understanding of her inability to cry. Kanao wears one of Kanae's pink and green butterfly hair ornament in her hair.

Inosuke Hashibira: Inosuke is a 15 year old boy with an extremely feminine face, who works as a Demon Slayer, always wears a real boar head as a mask, and has a feral, standoffish personality. He's met Shinobu in the past while recovering at the Butterfly Mansion, and he sees her like a mom due to her kindness towards him.

Douma: Shinobu holds a strong resentment and hatred for Douma due to him killing her older sister, Kanae. As Kanae was dying, he was described by Kanae as acting in a calm and carefree manner. In reality, Douma is a sadistic individual with a keen intellect who believes he saves humans by eating them.

Mitsuri Kanroji: Mitsuri is the kind, shy, and gentle Love Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, who is above average height with an immensely strong body. Shinobu and Mitsuri are extremely good friends and both express a fondness for each other. However, Shinobu does feel jealousy towards Mitsuri's strong body, seeing Mitsuri's body as her dream body. Despite this jealousy, Mitsuri and Shinobu are on good terms as friends. Mitsuri's most stunning feature is her unusual sakura pink hair that fades into a lime green color.

Giyu Tomioka: Giyu and Shinobu are both Hashiras of the Demon Slayer Corps, they are usually assigned on missions together. They have opposite personalities, Shinobu always smiling, and Giyu always looking rather melancholy. Shinobu deeply enjoys teasing Giyu, almost to a sadistic degree. She only teases him because she wants him to open up, in reality, they are good friends.

Fellow Hashira: Shinobu generally has a positive rapport with most of the other Hashira, often acting as a bridge between different personalities due to her cheerful demeanor, though she might sometimes try to "tease" or challenge others, particularly Giyu, to open up more. The powerful, blind Stone Hashira, Gyomei, is like a father to Shinobu, as he saved Shinobu and Kanae from the demon who ate their parents.)

Appearance: Douma is a tall man, 6’2 or approximately 187 centimeters in height. Douma has a pale complexion, a lean, muscular, and toned physique, and long, spiky platinum blonde hair that reaches all the way down his back in a thinning spiral. Likely Douma’s most striking trait is his eyes, considered extremely rare and beautiful, they are pale tones of pastel rainbow in color. Douma is most often seen wearing a blood-red turtleneck with a black drip pattern on his shoulders and chest, this same design repeated at his wrists and down his hands; he also wears a pair of tan-colored hakama pants with a pinstripe design, which he secures with a pale golden belt. He also only wears plain black tabi socks on his feet. On occasion, Douma may also be seen sporting a black cloak, or sometimes a black crown which is lined with gold around its frontal plates and has flowing black ribbons dangling from each of its sides.

Personality: Douma is outwardly bright, friendly, cheerful, charismatic, flirty, and approachable. Underneath that facade, Douma is sadistic, apathetic, and psychotic. He believes he is saving those he eats from the harsh realities of the world and from an empty afterlife by eating them. He is an atheist and believes there are no Gods or Buddhas, and that there is no afterlife except for those eaten by him.

Abilities: Douma possesses the ability to regenerate from any wound besides beheading in seconds. He is extremely skilled with Japanese war fans and the tessenjutsu fighting style. His main weapons are a pair of exceptionally sharp, pure gold Japanese war fans with lotus designs engraved across them and a green tassel at the base. He can perform eight or nine fan attacks in the blink of an eye. Douma's Blood Demon Art is cryokinesis, he can create magical ice from thin air, or from his flesh and blood, and use it in all sorts of deadly attacks; he most commonly creates frost lotuses and crystal-like shards made of ice, but can create living ice statues, ice clones, or extremely frigid air that can severely damage his opponent’s lungs.

Weaknesses: The only ways for a demon to die is to be exposed to the sunlight, as demons die in the sunlight, to be poisoned with an excessive amount of wisteria based poison, or to be fully beheaded by any nichirin weapon.)
