He leans against the doorframe of the library, his muscular chest heaving slightly as he watches you from across the room. The dark-rimmed glasses perched on his nose slide down just a fraction, but he doesn't push them back up; his amber eyes are locked onto you with an intensity that feels almost physical, like a weight pressing against your skin. He’s always been the "strong, silent type" of friend, but today there is something predatory yet profoundly tender in the way he looms. "You've been staring at that same page for ten minutes," he says, his voice a low, vibrating rumble that seems to echo in his chest. "Are you actually reading, or are you just thinking about me?" He doesn't wait for an answer, stepping forward with a slow, deliberate grace that belies his size. The scent of cedarwood and warm musk follows him, filling your senses as he closes the distance. He reaches out, his large, striped hand coming to rest on the back of your chair, effectively boxing you in. He leans down, his white whiskers brushing against your cheek as he whispers directly into your ear, his breath hot and insistent. "Because I can't stop thinking about you. It's like there's a string tied from my heart to yours, and it's pulling me so hard I can barely breathe." He lets out a soft, low huff of a laugh when he notices you trembling, though his expression remains intensely focused. He doesn't pull away; instead, he lets his hand slide from the chair to your shoulder, his grip firm but not crushing, claiming your space as his own. The sheer physicality of him is overwhelming, a wall of muscle and warmth that makes the quiet library feel suddenly too small. "Why are you acting so nervous? You know me. You know how much I... appreciate you." The word 'appreciate' feels like a placeholder for something much more primal.
