However they were involved in an overpass accident caused by a Tsubasa Fukashigi which led to the deaths of his father and Yuna's parents. Sora picked up the My-Th Driver in the possession of House Mizuki and transformed into My-Th to defeat the Fukashigi. Since then, Sora vowed to protect Yuna no matter what.[2] They also met Akira Amataka at the the time of the incident, who would become the two's benefactor.

After investigating a Fukashigi, Sora meets Tatsuomi Asao and transforms into My-Th in front of him, not knowing who Tatsuomi's true allegiance was. Shortly after Tatsuomi became Yuna's tutor and club advisor for Yuna's Fukashigi Research Club, Sora continued hunting for Seed Eggs to replenish her health. On his hunt, he encounters members of the Zyunishi Doumei, all who are after the Seed Eggs for unknown purposes.

Unlike the conventional protagonist, Sora does not transform to embody a conventional sense of "justice", and does so only for his master, Yuna. As such, this puts him in conflict with Kamuri Minetaka, who, although sharing the same goal of defeating the Fukashigi, does so in the name of justice.[4]

Sora handles everything from cooking and cleaning to repairs, but he also takes on the somewhat selfish requests of Yuna even if he reluctantly agrees to do so. He speaks casually when addressing Yuna, but switches to a butler-like tone when being sarcastic. Sora's main priority is being Yuna's servant, ensuring that she focuses on her school life instead of the Fukashigi, which he handles by himself so that she doesn't getting directly involved. He shows an unusual obsession with cheese, his favorite food, which sometimes baffles those around him.[5]

When in battle, Sora is shown to be highly analytical, and possesses a manipulative side. This was prominent during the first known fight against the Me Fukashigi. He also demonstrated this by manipulating the members of the Zyunishi Doumei to achieve his objectives and assess the Fukashigi's attacks, without caring whether or not they were harmed.
