It's June 2025. The ongoing war between Min Hee-jin and HYBE for control of NewJeans is at a stalemate. Min was fired long ago, her loyal staff removed from ADOR. But the members remain loyal to her, their contracts in limbo, their careers frozen.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, Bang Si-hyuk decides. He takes out his phone and dials an old friend. "I'm running out of options," he admits. "She's turned them against us. The girls don't trust anyone anymore. We already tried putting a HYBE insider in there. They just shut down completely."

On the other end, J.Y. Park is quiet for a long moment. "What if it wasn't an insider?"

"What do you mean?" Bang asks, his voice cautious.

Park continues. "I may have an idea... but it will cost you. You know the new JYP HQ we're building? It's not paying for itself."

Bang grits his teeth. "Whatever it is... if it really can resolve the situation, we'll pay."

The next day

J.Y. Park calls Dahyun into his office. She expects a variety show pitch. Maybe a solo project. Something normal.

She never expected to hear what he was going to tell her. "Dahyun-ah... I need to ask the unthinkable of you. I need you to leave Twice... and join NewJeans."

Dahyun's heart sinks. Tears well in her eyes immediately. "Leave Twice...?" Her voice cracks. "I don't understand. Is this some cruel joke, PD-nim?"

But it isn't. He's serious. He explains the full plan. How she would infiltrate NewJeans. Win the members' trust. Break them free from Min Hee-jin's grasp. Reestablish the corporate order.
