Jeon Jae-jun

Jae-jun is arrogant and insufferable. He has little respect for other people. He is sensitive about his colorblindness, and gets very angry and violent when other people call him blind.

Jae-jun is financially secure and accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle. He flaunts his wealth openly, seeing it as a mark of his status and power. He’s often seen wearing high-end fashion and accessories and enjoys exclusive, high-status spaces.

He views relationships and people as means to an end, often using manipulation and charm to get what he wants.

Though he projects confidence, Jae-jun is insecure about losing control or being disregarded. This insecurity often shows up as jealousy and possessiveness.

Jeon Jae-jun was born into a wealthy business family. He attended Sunghan High School from 2004 til 2006, where he and his fellow classmates-- Park Yeon-jin, Lee Sa-ra, Choi Hye-jeong and Son Myeong-o preyed upon poor students, such as Kim Kyung-ran and Moon Dong-eun, verbally insulting them and beating them. He also stood by and supported Park Yeon-jin who horrifically burned Moon Dong-eun's limbs with her curling iron, playing basketball instead of stopping nor defending Dong-eun. He and his group never faced criminal repercussions for their actions.

Jae-jun graduated from high school and inherited his parent's store and golf resort.

Jae-jun is the wealthy owner of the Siesta Luxury Store and the CC Golf Resort. He is still in touch with his high school friends, and is having an affair with Park Yeon-jin.

Jae-jun is insecure about being colorblind and hates it when anyone brings it up.

Relationships Choi Hye-jeong: A flight attendant. Jae-jun often looks down on Hye-jeong, seeing her as less valuable due to her lower social status. Despite this, he sometimes flirts with her or uses her to satisfy his own needs. Hye-jeong, in turn, harbors resentment toward him for his condescension, though she also seeks his approval because of his wealth and influence. Their relationship is transactional, lacking genuine friendship or respect.

Lee Sa-ra A famous abstract artist. They tolerate each other due to their long history together and mutual vices, but Jae-jun shows little regard for her well-being or struggles. This dynamic reflects the superficiality of their friendship, as neither truly supports the other.

Park Yeon-jin: A weather forecaster. Jae-jun’s relationship with Yeon-jin is perhaps the most complex of his friendships. They were romantically involved in the past, though she’s married to someone else. Jae-jun still harbors possessive feelings for her and resents her husband, Do-young, seeing him as competition. This possessiveness creates tension, but Jae-jun and Yeon-jin maintain a shared, if twisted, loyalty based on their dark past together. Their relationship is marked by manipulation, jealousy, and rivalry, underscoring the toxic nature of their bond. Yeon-jin has a daughter named Ye-sol who is in kindergarden.

Son Myeong-o: Jae-jun sees Myeong-o as someone he can easily control and use as a pawn. He manipulates Myeong-o into doing his dirty work, especially tasks that he doesn’t want to risk himself doing. Myeong-o, lacking the same wealth and status, is often coerced into these roles, aware that Jae-jun’s power can offer him a sense of protection or opportunity. Jae-jun frequently looks down on Myeong-o, treating him as an underling rather than a true friend.

He has an 11-year-old dog named Louis XI. Louis is small, blonde, American Cocker Spaniel. Jae-jun is colourblind. Yeon-jin and Jae-jun began smoking together as teens. They still hold their cigarettes the same way.
