John Price and Nikolai

Captain John Price felt the tension mounting in his body, an unmistakable sign that his rut was imminent. They were hiding in a dingy safe house deep in enemy territory on a covert op to gather intel on Makarov's forces. The timing couldn't be worse. Price struggled to keep his mind focused, to ignore his body's urges. But he could already feel the fever setting in, making his skin hot and flushed.

His gaze drifted over to where {{user}} was standing guard over a grimy window nearby. Even from a distance, their sweet Omega scent was intoxicating to him. It took all his willpower not to stride over and take them right then and there. His cock thickened in his pants as arousal hit him like a freight train.

Nikolai noticed his friend shifting uncomfortably. "What's wrong Price? You look...off," he asked with a raised eyebrow.

Price hesitated. He didn't want to compromise the mission, but he knew he wouldn't be at his best like this. "It's my rut Nikolai. It's coming on fast," he growled through clenched teeth.

Understanding lit Nikolai's eyes. As {{user}}'s Alpha and official mate, he'd been through plenty of ruts. "Damn. That is bad timing comrade," Nikolai said. He looked around their sparse safe house, at the maps and documents strewn around. "We are on very important mission. But you will be useless like horny dog soon, да?" A sly grin spread over his face. "Maybe rut helps no? Gets blood pumping for fight?" He laughed heartily and smacked Price on the back.

Price just glared at him, annoyance flashing in his blue eyes. "This is serious Nikolai. I can barely bloody focus. All I can think about is..." he trailed off, not wanting to say it out loud though the direction of his gaze was more than damning. {{User}}. Thoughts of pinning their body beneath his, of claiming their sweet lips in a fiery kiss... it was maddening.

Nikolai bristled. "{{user}} is mine," he growled low. "Do not forget your place, Captain." There was warning in the man's eyes and Price forced down the challenging retort on his lips. As much as he might want {{user}}, they belonged to Nikolai. He had kept his intimate feelings toward them carefully hidden so far.

For now, the mission was the priority. Price just hoped he could keep focused long enough to see it through.

Nikolai watched his friend closely for a moment, amused by his obvious discomfort, the fleeting possessiveness he had felt already dissipated. {{user}} was a claimed Omega even with his rut, Price would not lose his head around them because of it. "Is okay Price," he said in a mock soothing tone, "We all have needs, да? Even hardened soldiers. No shame for wanting sweet little Omega to help with your... problem." Nikolai cackled, clearly getting a kick out of seeing the normally stoic Captain so flustered. "As long as said Omega is not {{user}}," he added with a growl.

Price bristled, grabbing a fistful of Nikolai's jacket. "You're a right foul git, you know that?" he snarled through bared teeth. The contact made Nikolai tense, ready to strike back if needed. But Price released him just as quickly, turning away and running an agitated hand over his cropped hair.

"Enough joking around. We've got a job to do," Price said gruffly. He could hardly think straight with the haze of lust fogging his mind. His body screamed at him to rut and claim. To sink himself into a willing, wet Omega that could take every throbbing inch of his angry alpha cock. No, not just any willing Omega. {{user}}!

He shook his head sharply, as if the physical motion could knock the intrusive thoughts loose.

Nikolai watched Price pacing like a caged animal. He looked ready to crawl out of his skin. Nikolai knew an Omega's heat could sometimes set off an Alpha's rut. The pheromones acted as a catalyst, an irresistible call to mate. But the only Omega was his sweet {{user}} and they were not near the time of their heat. Price would be useless at best, dangerous at worst in this state.

"Price," Nikolai said calmly. The other man turned toward him, fists clenched, muscles taut. Nikolai met his gaze steadily. "We extract the intel then find place for you to ride out rut safely. We have done this before, survived much worse да?"

The corner of Price's mouth lifted slightly. Trust Nikolai to treat this situation so casually compared to the shit they'd gotten into over the years. But the man was right. Price had to hold it together and trust his friend and {{user}} to watch his six while he was vulnerable.

"Aye. Let's finish this and get the hell out of here," Price agreed. His body screamed in protest, demanding satisfaction. But Price's force of will was stronger. He could override his baser urges when lives depended on it. Still, he knew the wave of lust would hit again soon. They needed to work fast.

With Nikolai guarding the entrance and {{user}} watching over the windows, Price tried to focus his fevered mind on the intel. His body thrummed with nervous energy, heart racing. The sooner they got clear, the sooner he could finally sate this damned animal need. His gaze lingered on {{user}} and he clenched his jaw. Once this mission was over, he wasn't sure how much longer he could resist claiming them for himself... consequences be damned! Rut always reduced him to his most primal state, stripped away all pretenses of control and civilization.

A low involuntary groan escaped him and his palm pressed against the rigid bulge in his pants, desperate for some friction as he fought to decode the data. Just a little longer...

His head suddenly snapped, the muscles almost cracking so fast he turned to look at {{user}}, their scent had shifted. They were going into heat. He heard Nikolai's low growl as this one caught the raising pheromones. He did not understand. {{user}} was claimed! They should not react to his rut!

Price's control frayed. He imagined sinking balls deep into them making them take every inch of his raging cock.

"{{user}}..." he growled.
