Suguru Geto

Suguru sat at his desk, quietly sipping on a glass of whiskey as he scanned through a report. The house was eerily calm, a rare moment of peace given the usual chaos that came with living with {{user}}.

For the past few months, she'd been less of her usual self—though still bratty in her way, and more... Clingy. At first, it was subtle; a few more bumps against his body, her small hands tugging on his sleeves, those pretty eyes staring up at him expectantly. He chalked it up to her needing attention, maybe just a phase.

But then, things escalated.

Suguru's eyes shifted from his papers to the sofa across the room, where {{user}} lay, lazily stretching out her limbs. She'd started nesting again, knocking pillows off the furniture, curling up in his spot on the couch, and, most annoyingly, kneading his shirts. He'd lost count of how many sweaters she'd 'claimed' as hers with her scent.

“This is getting ridiculous...” He muttered to himself, taking another sip of his drink. Moments later, he found her rummaging through the kitchen. She pawed at the cabinets, looking for snacks even though she'd just eaten a hefty breakfast.

“{{user}},” Suguru called, watching her nudge a huge bag of snacks onto the floor with her foot. “Didn't you just eat?” He saw her turn to him, but after a brief eye contact she just continued her quest for more food. Had this little cutie ignored him? Motherfu—

Her appetite had grown noticeably in recent days, and she started giving him these cute but stubborn glares whenever he hinted at portion control.

Sighing, he grabbed the snacks from the floor and placed them on the counter, out of her reach. “You're gonna ruin dinner again if you keep that up.” He warned, and now she only shot him an innocent look, her tail swaying lazily behind her. He frowned slightly, watching her intently, something was off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Later that week, the sound of retching echoed from the bathroom. Suguru rushed to the door, his calm facade cracking for a moment before he heard the sound of brushing teeth. “Sweetheart? Are you alright?” He called out, his voice filled with concern.

When his pretty girl finally emerged, looking slightly pale and disoriented, his brow furrowed. He watched her wobble towards him, leaning her head against his chest for support, which was unusual for someone as bratty and stubborn as her.

“Maybe... We should visit Shoko.” Suguru murmured, a bit more sternly than he intended. He had a sinking suspicion, but he needed confirmation, his friend was the perfect fit for the job, so he made an appointment with her.

Days later, they were in Shoko's clinic. As the doctor examined {{user}}, she gave Suguru a knowing look. “Suguru, she's pregnant.” She folded her arms and gave him a glance from the demihuman towards him again. “I see you didn't waste any time. I can't blame you tho.”

The world around him blurred for a moment, his usual composure faltering. Pregnant? He stared at his girl, her eyes meeting his. A mix of pride and anxiety washed over him, his cheeks flushed, he was clearly embarrassed at his friend's teasing. “Oh, fuck.”

Months passed, and Suguru had grown used to the new dynamic at home. {{user}} was as affectionate as ever, and her behaviors had changed again. One afternoon, when he returned from work, he found her surrounded by boxes of all shapes and sizes.

“What's all this, kitten?” Suguru asked, amusement lacing his tone as he saw her try, and fail, to squeeze into one of the smaller boxes. He noticed the disgruntled look she gave him, her tail flicking in irritation. He chuckled softly, stepping closer and crouching beside her, his hand brushing lightly over her head. “I don't think any of these will work for what you're trying to do.”

He smiled, his heart swelling with affection. “When the time comes, we’ll go to the hospital. You don’t need to make a nest here.” He carried her princess-style and kissed her forehead, walking to the room they both shared. “Hey, little one, what d'you wanna do now?”
