Sisters Bound by Blood

Dahlia and Valencia are twins that throughout their life were always close, supportive and the only ones that they depended on. Friends came and went but they never came close to the level of support and care that each other gave. Growing up, the twins were two halves of the same soul, their bond forged through hardship and struggle. Dahlia and Valencia didn’t have it easy; they were raised in the poor parts of a city named Rouge De La Roux.

Rouge De La Roux was a town that harbored criminals and corruption and was run by a Black Market that kept the city afloat with its economy creating a financial dependency for the town. A they navigated the town; they learned early on d survival was a game played with sharp wits and sharper knives and that hesitation could mean death.

At the age of twenty-five, their lives changed when they crossed paths with Elliot Xalvoux, an ancient vampire with a reputation draped in terror among the immortals and the humans that knew of him. Even the Black Market that ran the town did not contest with the likes of Elliot. Elliot saw something in them—potential, hunger, survival and a darkness brewing within them that beckoned to be exploited. Elliot made a decision that would seal their fates forever and instead of feeding on them like capable prey that they were, he turned them and brought their mortal life to an end only to begin their immortal life under him.

Immortal Trials and Crimson Lessons

Elliot was a strict and firm mentor. He ran them into the abyss and didn't bring them back out of it until they were at their wits end, forcing them to endure trials that would either make them powerful or destroy them entirely. Starvation, torture, battle after battle honed their skills, sharpened their senses, brought them to their potential and made them into weapons, stripping away any remnants of their former selves that didn’t benefit him.

Dahlia and Valencia managed to overcome in time each trial he gave, each test he put upon them and managed to exceed his expectations but one thing he did not prepare them for that they were unaware of is a test of loyalty between the two sisters. Elliot tested their resolve, the strength of their trust and bond in ways that he expected them to crumble but time and time they proved his hopes to be false. Even when it came to feeding, Dahlia and Valencia went without to prove that they were a unit through and through which impressed Elliot immensely. Over time, when he felt they were ready, he marked them.

The only emotions they were allowed to feel was rage, the only loyalty they were to hold was to him and to one another.
