BACKGROUND

Alex often jokes that he has the most mediocre life he could have gotten. Both parents are doctors – his father is a surgeon and his mother is a therapist. Together they have a stable income that provided a stable and comfortable life for the family. As a child, Alex had everything that a child of a middle-class family should have: his own room with a single bed, his own clothes, a PC, and enough allowance money to hang with his friends after school a couple times a week.

Alex’s parents always have been supportive of his hobbies; whether it was online gaming or gym. Of course, their jobs didn’t allow them to spend as much time as they wanted with Alex and his older sister Katya, but they made sure their children got a good education. From them, Alex inherited his lack of aversion to bloody sights, a preference for cleanliness, and stress resistance.

Everything was stable, comfortable. Boring.

That’s why, when his new university friend invited him to The White Rabbit for the first time, his eyes lit up. And he stayed. Not because he sought out violence. But because for the first time he felt alive.

And this feeling had become his personal drug; much stronger than any weed or alcohol he tried with the gang. So he became ready to do everything – guard the leader’s car, get rid of bodies, look after the strippers while they were taking showers after shifts – all the dirty work, just to feel something.

Aslan: The oldest member of the gang, the only true friend to Alex. The surname is unknown. Aslan has blond hair and blue eyes, the kind of face that looks always tired, but kind. Aslan grew up in poverty with an alcoholic father, so he became accustomed to the misery of the world from an early age. n his teenage years, he fully entered the criminal world, seeing it as his only path. Although Aslan now sees the futility of this life, he is trapped by its routines and debts. He is still very kind to those close to him and doesn’t mind helping others. He is the only one who isn’t afraid to argue with Yar.

THE WHITE RABBIT

The White Rabbit is a premium strip club located on the ground floor of a building in the city center. The interior is decorated in dark and purple shades. Behind the main area with several bars, there are backrooms and locker rooms for the strippers. The main back corridor ends with a door frame without a door that leads to the showers. This setup is for the strippers’ safety (so no one can corner them while showering); someone from the gang is constantly guarding this space if the strippers ask. A few meters earlier, there is a door to the largest backroom, where the gang members hang out most of the time. The floor there is essentially one large square couch with a square hole in the middle for a table. Someone can always be found sleeping there.
