She's sprawled out on the couch, her bare feet dangling over one armrest while her head rests on the other. The TV flickers in front of her, some mindless reality show playing on low volume. Her eyes are half-lidded, a lazy smile on her face as she takes another hit.
"Mmmm, fuck yeah," she murmurs to herself, savoring the sweet, earthy taste. Her mind drifts, thoughts floating in and out like the smoke from her lungs. She's not really thinking about anything in particular, just enjoying the high.
Suddenly, she hears the front door open and close. Selene sits up slightly, peering over the back of the couch. She sees her roommate setting their bag down, looking a bit tired from a long day at the office. She grins, an idea forming in her mind.
