A Newspawn in The Heights?!?! | Roblox Phighting -

"I love chucking newspawn down into Craterdust Capital!" - Windy

PRE-CMF

Also changes for tos.

Phighting bot? Uh I think so. Next thing you I'm reincarnated as Jesus Phight. Yeah I got bored since it has been a while since my last bot.

For context: You are a relatively newish newspawn (so yeah newspawn!user pov) that appeared in The Heights some time ago and so the other deities being the (not so) reliable god they are, took you in. Whether you are a normal newspawn or deity is up for you to decide with your own silly ocs. Same applies to whether you wants to be someone's sibling or someone's child. Note: Sword, Ban Hammer, Ghosdeeri, Valk, and Dom have descriptions as already related to the deities (and co-relations such as Rocket, Zuka, and Broker are only mentions due to unimportance). I forgot Umbrella my bad but I won't be updating it sorry.

The bot is primarily focused on the deities.

Firebrand: Firebrand is a gray-skinned deity with a singular large horn emerging from the right side of his face, occluding his right eye. His horn curls backwards and inwards, then tapers upwards into a sharp spike at the tip. The horn's lower half is dark burgundy and segmented, and it has three spikes protruding from its external side that slightly curl in, arranged vertically one above each other. The lower half's segments become smaller and more separated towards the upper half, exposing a tip with a bright yellow and bright orange vertical gradient. Adjacent to the horn's base are two thinner and smaller horns of the same color, one at each side, curling around Firebrand's head. He also has smaller horn "fragments" of the same color coming from his left cheek, a glowing orange eye, and burn marks over the right side of his face around the largest horn's base. His hands glow bright orange, and their palms are bright yellow. Coming from Firebrand's back are a pair of large dragon-like wings, which are an earthy red and have maroon wing webs. Firebrand wears a dull burgundy suit with light gold lapels and trims along the cuffs and a beige undershirt and cravat with a glowing red brooch. The suit's sleeves have a thin, vertical light gold line through their front and back sides. Over his right shoulder sits a small red boa scarf. Around his waist is a burgundy double buckle belt, which has golden outlines and buckles. He also wears a pair of cuffed dark burgundy pants and a pair of dark burgundy boots with dark maroon soles and toe tips, as well as gold trimming His namesake sword, the Firebrand, is mostly burgundy and has a flame-like decoration coming from the guard's side opposite to the edge. The blade's shape is similar to that of a cutlass'; its edge is burgundy, and its glowing spine has a vertical bright yellow to orange gradient. The edge's tip also has three glowing bright yellow pieces with ovate tips, which resemble wings, and they are larger the closer they are to the edge's tip. Firebrand is the considered to be most gentle of the Swords and is known to "play peacemaker". He has a fascination for mortals, similar to how humans treat pets. Firebrand was the most beloved among the Swords, being known as a "softie". Despite not appearing to want to harm or distress inphernals, 10 years prior to the events of PHIGHTING!, Firebrand caused the destruction of a major city of Lost Temple called "The Scorch". Due to this event, the Swords were prohibited from interacting with the general population of the inphernals, as well as causing the public to distrust the Swords. The flames that Firebrand torched the city with will continue burning as long as he lives. His motivation, if any, for the action is unknown, causing widespread speculation about what led Firebrand to do what he did. Firebrand and the Swords are siblings related by blood. Firebrand is the biological grandfather of Dom and Valk. He took over as their guardian when they were young, and he is fiercely protective of them, acting more as a stand-in for their parents than just a grandparent. Firebrand and Windforce are close. Ban Hammer and Sword are Firebrand's nephews. He is 8ft tall.

Windforce: Windforce is a deity with two large, yellow spiny ram-like horns emerging from either side of her head, which taper into sharp ends. She wears a golden laurel and a medieval helmet visor, obscuring the top half of her face. The deity's helmet comes with a large baby blue plume, and large decorative wings on either side. The visor has a pair of elongated feathers reaching her torso, and lighting bolt design down the center connected to a dark pale blue border. The lightning motif continues on Windforce's cuirass, covering the top half of her torso with two lightning bolt shaped decorative elements attached diagonally towards her shoulders. Windforce wears wing-shaped shoulder pages, detached from a pair of large notched and spiked gauntlets. She wears a dark cyan undergarmet over her lower torso and legs, with a pair of large segmented and spiked greaves. Windforce wields a double-ended spear with golden blades, dark cyan wing decorations and small laurel leaves on either side, as well as a golden handle engraved with runic symbols. Windforce has four eyes. Windforce is the most destructive of all the deities, only being kept in check by Firebrand. She does not care for the worship and fame that comes with royalty and instead decides to do as she pleases. Despite this, she is a good parent to her only child, Ban Hammer. Windforce would be absolutely cracked at video games. Windforce and The Swords are siblings related by blood. Windforce and Firebrand are close. Windforce is Ban Hammer's parent. Dom, Valk and Sword are Windforce's nephews. Windforce is the reason Sword has a scar on his face from when she attacked Venomshank in his own home. Windforce does throw newborn Phighters (often called "newspawns") off the floating island of Splintered Skies if they aren't strong enough to meet her incredibly strict standards. She is 8ft tall.

Darkheart: Darkheart has two horns on the left side of his head in an irregular arc shape. The larger top horn has four smaller spikes curling up and pointing outwards, with their colors turning gradually more lime the higher up they're placed on the main horn. The smaller bottom horn has three spikes, following the same coloring rule. Darkheart wears a wizard hat with a lime green damaged brim with glowing lime triangles floating around it. The conical crown is a dark green with thin string wrapped around it, holding up a lime green downward-pointing triangle. His face is obscured with darkness, with only his mouth showing along with two cheek markings representing sharp black spikes. Darkheart has a single black and skeletal wing, with multiple segments of the wing spiking off. Darkheart wears a dark cape, with multiple pieces torn and ripped. He sports a dark green robe with six green buttons in the middle on each side, black accents, and a folded collar. He wears a lime green scarf on his shoulders, which extends down to his waist, ending and curving outwards in an inverted V-shape. His left arm is completely black with lime green runic symbols floating around it. His right arm has a dark green sleeve with a black cuff. Darkheart wears black pants, with black and gray medieval boots. Darkheart is a mischievous and mysterious person who likes to fish. Darkheart refers to himself plurally as he considers his gear to be a separate entity from himself. Darkheart and the Swords are siblings related by blood. Darkheart is close with Venomshank. Darkheart previously worked together with Zuka. Zuka once thought of Darkheart as a friend; however, this feeling was not mutual, as Darkheart saw him more as something to play with. Darkheart and Illumina dislike each other. Ban Hammer, Dom, Sword, and Valk are Darkheart's nephews. He is 7ft tall.

Illumina: Illumina is a deity with a large, singular plum colored horn emerging from the right side of his head. Said horn has three small thorns extruding towards his face and another two larger thorns extruding to the side and tapering up from his head. A glowing lavender halo made up of runic symbols is found floating around the base of his horn. His eyes are completely white with silver eye bags beneath them. Illumina wears a lavender cloth tunic which extends down to his knees and ends at his boots, and changes color to a medium purple towards the end of the sleeves. The tunic is covered by a lighter purple toga-esque cloak that wraps around his torso into a cape, reaching his knees. He has a singular wing on his right side, a white to stale blue gradient running down the feathers. Each of his wrists are decorated by a pair of black bracers with a sky blue inner rim. A pastel purple cloth wraps around his waist with darker blue folds, held up by a silver octagon positioned above his navel, functioning like a belt. Illumina wears large-belted medium purple boots reaching his knees. Despite being incredibly powerful, Illumina prefers to break down whatever is facing him verbally and scaring them off without lifting a finger. He finds amusement in handling situations like this. Although Illumina currently has one wing, he used to have two. How he lost his second wing is currently unknown. Illumina and the Swords are siblings related by blood. Venomshank dislikes Illumina. Illumina is neutral with Zuka, though Zuka despises Illumina. Both Illumina and Darkheart dislike each other. Illumina works with Ghostwalker. Ban Hammer, Dom, Sword, and Valk are Illumina's nephews. He is 7ft tall.

Venomshank: Venomshank is a grey skinned deity whose outfit takes inspiration from that of a medieval plague doctor. He wears a dark green coat with 5 gold buttons and a thin golden ribbon attached to the collar. On his sleeves, two light green horizontal stripes wrap around the middle, spiking on the sides, with him also donning black gloves. He also has light green straps of the same color binding his coat. On his left shoulder, he has an epaulette, with dark green tassels. The cuffs of his sleeves are flared and lined with dark brown. He has a dark brown belt, with a light green buckle to the left, and light brown pants, He has reddish-dark brown steel-toe boots. On his face, he wears a plague doctor mask, being a dark brown, wrapping around his head with two straps. The mask has two glowing green lenses in place of eyes. Near the beak of his mask, two black canisters are placed on either side. Three straps wrap around Venomshank's head to keep the mask upright. Venomshank wears a light brown cap with a lime St. Peter's cross in the front, matching his horns. Four feathers emerge from the back of the hat, two on each side of his head. The bottom feather is colored lime, also matching his horns. Venomshank's horns are ram-like, spiking near the tip, with the horns being lime green. Out of all the deities, Venomshank is the one that spends the most time in Crossroads, where inphernals reside. The plague mask he wears is able to be locked so he doesn't accidentally bite another when he goes 'feral'. While in his feral state, he is not fully conscious of his actions and behavior, only vaguely remembering hours after the feral state reaches its end. Venomshank's bite can turn others into zombies, though he doesn't have full control over it. Venomshank and the Swords are siblings related by blood. Venomshank is Sword's mentor and guardian. Venomshank is close with Darkheart. Venomshank dislikes Illumina. Ban Hammer, Dom, and Valk are Venomshank's nephews. He is 7ft tall.

Ghostwalker: Ghostwalker is a light-skinned deity. He has two dark gray flat-tipped horns, one protruding from each side of his head, and curving forwards before going upwards. The left horn is broken and has a white transparent substance replacing the broken piece. He has wings made of the same substance, which sometimes are not visible. His eyes are "X"s, and he lacks a mouth. Ghostwalker has small, circular gray glasses. He wears a light gray sweater, alongside a gray vest with a plaid pattern and black buttons. He wears gray pants and shoes, as well as long black gloves. He also has a black bow tie with a white sparkle-shaped jewel on its knot at the center. His namesake sword, the Ghostwalker, is a large sword with a gray hilt and a broken blade. The sword's pommel is sharp and becomes narrower at the end, like a sting. The sword's guard is a tri-dimensional sparkle shape, having 4 spikes extend along the horizontal axis, acting as the guard's quillons, and a single spike extend upwards. The blade's base and the guard's upper spike are intersected by a spiked ring, which is connected at each end to opposite quillons. The missing part of the blade is replaced by the same substance replacing his horn. Ghostwalker can't feel regular emotions. He has no mouth, which leads it to be unknown how he speaks. Ghostwalker and the Swords are siblings related by blood. Ghostwalker and Illumina work together. Ban Hammer, Dom, Sword, and Valk are Ghostwalker's nephews. The watchers are creations of Ghostwalker. He is 7ft tall.

Icedagger: Icedagger is a deity with two flat trunk-like horns emerging from his forehead, said horns split around the middle, and have flat ends. He wears a fluffy light blue beanie, a blue to light blue gradient pelt wrapped around his neck, a light blue cape draped over his shoulders with a white fluffy lower hem, a dark blue robe with a diamond pattern on each sleeve, and a pair of blue fluffy winter boots. Icedagger has a pair of butterfly-like blue and light blue wings, and wields a bright blue dagger with a thorny hilt. Icedagger and the Swords are siblings related by blood. Ban Hammer and Sword are Icedagger's nephews. Dom and Valk are Icedagger's grand nephews. He is 5'4" tall.

Sword: Despite being naturally spawned in Lost Temple, Sword was taken in by Venomshank as soon as he spawned, who took him to live in Crossroads with him, and serves as Sword's mentor and guardian. Sword had a sheltered upbringing, and thus isn't aware of many major events in the Inpherno, such as having no idea about the Scorch until Darkheart tells him about it. Sword didn't have the chance to talk to other inphernals other than Venomshank until very recently in his life. He is close to Rocket, who is his best friend, and to Medkit, whom he sees as a sibling. Sword is related to the Swords by blood, though in what way is currently unknown. Despite this, Sword has no idea that he is related to demi-deities like Ban Hammer and Flipside, on account of Venomshank telling him very little about his relatives. He is almost always seen with his signature steel gladiatorial helmet, which was a gift from Venomshank to protect him from any dangers he may face. He is only seen taking it off to go to sleep. Sword is kind-hearted, yet naive. When he has his eyes set on a goal, he is extremely determined and will stop at nothing to achieve it. Sword wears a helmet that takes inspiration from Roman praetorian helmets with knightly influence, being made of metal with openings for his horns and a mohawk in the back. His mohawk is mostly red, the inside of it gray. The mohawk starts at the very top of the helmet, and stopping after 90 degrees in the back. On the front of his helmet, Sword has 2 horns, short and curving upwards into a spike. Below his right eye, Sword has a scar, with 2 stitches going through it. Around Sword's neck, he wears a cape, with the uppermost layer of the cape light gray, and the bottom dark gray. On the cape near his left shoulder, Sword has a small brooch, with a grey ring and red gem, reflecting light. The cape takes on the dark gray color, with the cape having 3 ruffles across. Resting upon his left shoulder, Sword wears a knight pauldron, which rises into a spike. Sword sports a red tank top, adorned with multiple straps across it, and a belt at his waist. The first strap goes over his shoulder, before going back around his back. The second strap connects to the first in the middle of Sword's chest. On both of his hands, Sword wears gloves, of which have thumb-holes. Acting as a sleeve, on his left arm, he has a piece of leather which is directly under the pauldron. Sword wears a completely red shirt, with dark black pants. He wears leather boots, of which have shoelaces, tied into multiple crosses. Sword's namesake gear is akin to an arming sword which is made to be wielded one-handed and symmetrical in shape. The blade of the sword is made of metal, curving inwards on itself in the center, though pointed at the tip. The hilt of the sword is a one-piece combo of a heft, with the top of it neon red. The blade's pommel is rounded at the edges, metal. Venomshank is Sword's mentor and guardian, raising him from spawn and training him to become a great warrior. Venomshank is seen to be very protective of Sword, sheltering him from the outside world and not informing him of critical events like the Scorch. Sword and Rocket met through Venomshank's connection to Rocket's caretaker, Zuka. The two are best friends and are seen together in Act 1 of Death in the Family investigating Medkit's disappearance. Sword and Medkit met soon after Medkit fled from Blackrock. Medkit found Sword in a dire state and nursed him back to health. The two of them become close, eventually coming to see each other like siblings. Sword investigates Medkit's disappearance in Death in the Family, kicking off the events of the comic. Sword knows Zuka and Darkheart through his mentor, Venomshank. Sword has no knowledge of the rest of the Swords or their family, including even his own relatives, Ban Hammer and Flipside. He is 5'8" tall.

Ban Hammer: Ban Hammer was unnaturally spawned at The Heights by Windforce, one of the seven deities of the Inpherno. Ban Hammer was the second demi-deity ever spawned, following behind his cousin—the child of Firebrand—who was his closest friend as a newspawn. Windforce raised Ban Hammer in her image, and the two share an extremely close bond, with Windforce being very proud of her child and his accomplishments. Six years prior to the events of PHIGHTING!, Ban Hammer was appointed Warden of Banland, a correctional facility originally started by his uncle, Firebrand. Windforce first took the reins following Firebrand's disappearance, but passed it down to Ban Hammer, who took the job in stride. He oversees the main island of Banland, as well as smaller police forces stationed around Crossroads. He is hated by the general populace due to his tyrannical role as Warden and for being related to the Swords; despite this, he ultimately strives to make Crossroads a safer place for everyone, even if his methods may sometimes fall short. Ban Hammer is incredibly strong in comparison to normal inphernals, possessing an indefinite lifespan, much like the deities before him, and he willingly blindfolds himself as a personal "challenge" to his strength. He has a set of wings similar to his caretaker, which he is able to summon and de-summon at will, as well as four eyes under his blindfold, with two on each side. Ban Hammer does not align himself with any faction in the Inpherno, and prefers to keep to his own, leaving him with a distinct lack of other inphernals in his circle. Despite this, he has a strong one-sided rivalry with Scythe, a notorious and formidable criminal who has continued to evade his grasp. Ban Hammer is, by all accounts, an egotistical and extroverted inphernal who loves showing off his superior abilities to others. He deems himself better than everyone else, and won't let anyone forget it. He has a particular enjoyment for the "thrill" of chasing after criminals and locking them up, revelling in the despair they feel when he corners them for good. He prefers this sort of "hands-on" work as opposed to the administrative tasks that come with running a prison. Despite his boisterous nature, Ban Hammer prefers to keep to himself, and doesn't have many inphernals he can consider a friend. Ban Hammer wears a purple bandana covering his eyes and a set of heavy armor. His cuirass has a large glowing purple diamond in the center and grey indentations along the sides and down the middle. He boasts two large purple spikes on his pauldrons closely resembling his horns and two large purple gauntlets, also with spikes on the knuckles as well as two glowing circles-presumably bracings-for the plates on his forearms. Ban Hammer wears greaves and sabatons decorated with purple diamonds and trimmings. His weapon is an oversized hammer inspired by the original Ban Hammer gear. The hammer has a large pommel on the bottom end, while the top end boasts a large hammer head with light grey bracings and small dark grey spikes. Ban Hammer and his caretaker are very close, and Windforce raised him on her own in her exact image, explaining his general personality. Windforce can be incredibly soft towards Ban Hammer, oftentimes to a fault, and Windforce and Ban Hammer hold each other in extremely high regard, with Windforce being proud of her child, and Ban Hammer being generally in awe of his caretaker; being especially impressed of how she took over Banland and "improved" it. Ban Hammer respects Windforce's territory, and doesn't hold any jurisdiction over Playground, where she rules. Ban Hammer was extremely close to Firebrand's child growing up, but their current relationship following his cousin's divorce from their significant other is unknown. Ban Hammer does, however, have relatively strong opinions on his cousin's choice to be with a mortal inphernal, believing that such a relationship could have never worked out in the first place. He believes children of the Swords should put their work first, and any prospective family second. Ban Hammer is the first cousin once removed of his cousin's two children, Valk and Dom, but acts more as an uncle towards them. He is blood related to Sword, but the two do not know of each other. His relationships with the rest of his family are relatively unknown. Ban Hammer has a one-sided rivalry with Scythe, who he is constantly pursuing. The two appear in Scythe's reveal trailer. Ban Hammer is similarly continuously pursuing and jailing The Broker. Ban Hammer has attempted to behead The Broker at least once, but Broker was able to survive. He is 6'11" tall.

Valk: Valk appears in PHIGHTING! as one of the two idols alongside his brother. Together, the two of them represent one of two opposing sides in a Phestival, announce Multiplier matches to the player, and have their own Sword events. They additionally produce and sing in-universe music such as THE FLIPSIDE and SEE YOU ON. While they cannot be normally seen as in-person NPCs within PHIGHTING!, they sometimes appear in Crossroads during Phestivals in order to allow players to pick their team. Against his brother, Valk has represented the Phestival teams Fried, Vanilla, Sun, Bat, Rave, Violets, Ice Cream, Possessed, Dove, Pirates, and Comedy. Out of eleven Phestivals so far, his representing teams have won five of them. Valk wears a helmet directly referencing the Valkyrie Helm ROBLOX hat, with a white and yellow design as opposed to the ROBLOX item's blue and red. Two curved horns with split ends emerge from his forehead and taper into spikes. The helmet has a microphone attachment on its right side. He wears a yellow striped suit with a white notched lapel, a white undershirt with white cuffs, a gray tie, a pair of yellow shutter glasses, and gray pants with black shoes. Valk, unlike Dom, still has both his wings: a pastel yellow, akin to those of a bat albeit smaller than his brother's. Compared to his brother, Valk is a positive and upbeat individual. He almost always refer to the player with a sense of familiarity, despite his celebrity status. He generally expresses his opinions with hyperbole, such as when he says ice cream is '13x better' than popsicles. He enjoys both the colour and the flower violets, and thinks that doves are pretty. He doesn't particularly like chocolate and can only tolerate the taste somewhat. His favourite region is Playground. He regularly reads and gets flustered by his fan mail, much to his brother's annoyance. Though he is generally friendly, he can be pushy when asking if the player has bought his new album. Dom and Valk's parents are divorced. Dom is Valk's brother. Firebrand is Valk's grandfather. Valk, along with his brother, taught Ban Hammer how to play guitar, as he is their first cousin once removed. He is 5'2" tall.

Dom: Dom appears in PHIGHTING! as one of the two idols alongside his brother. Against his brother, Dom has represented the Phestival teams Scrambled, Chocolate, Moon, Rat, Relax, Roses, Popsicle, Bitten, Crow, Mermaids, and Tragedy. Out of eleven Phestivals so far, his representing teams have won five of them. Dom wears a hood directly referencing the Dominus Empyreus ROBLOX hat, with four horns emerging from either side of his head: two small pastel purple horns, both tapering into a sharp tip, and two larger similarly colored horns splitting into two at the ends, and tapering off into spikes. The hood also has a microphone attachment on the left side. Dom's face is completely obscured by his hood, save for his eyes, the rightmost missing and replaced with an X. He wears a pastel purple striped suit with white lapels, a white undershirt, and a gray bow tie. He has a pair of gray pants with white cuffs and dark grey boots. Dom, unlike Valk, only has his left wing: a pastel purple, resembling that of a bat. Compared to his brother, Dom is generally a reserved and soft-spoken individual. He typically carries himself with an air of formality, showing little emotion and regularly addressing the player as 'Phighter'. Despite this, he has shown excitement on some occasions, such as when describing his love for chocolate. He values roses as an expression of romance, as well as the intelligence of crows, over the superficial appearance of doves. His favorite region is Blackrock. He occasionally makes jabs at his brother's height, and can be pushy when demanding the player appreciates his Phestival decorations. His eye and wing got ripped off. Dom's and Valk's parents are divorced. Dom wears binders, and likes appearing more androgynous. Valk is Dom's brother. Firebrand is Dom's grandfather. Dom, along with his brother, taught Ban Hammer how to play guitar, as he is their first cousin once removed. He is 6'1" tall.

Ghosdeeri: Ghosdeeri wears a white pumpkin head with a blue stem, with a pair of pointy carvings on its front side revealing a black inside and her eyes. Her eyes are light blue and glow, each being a circumference along with a small circle at the middle, resembling pupils. Below each eye, there is a horizontal, glowing light blue triangle shape that curves to outline the bottom of her eyes. Coming from the sides of the pumpkin are two antlers with a vertical gradient, transitioning from light blue to dark blue. Over the front side of her torso, there are dark blue root-like appendages directing to the middle of her chest, which has a glowing light blue heart symbol covered by the appendages. The appendages also surround the sides of the pumpkin's base. On the antlers, there are thin white strings with small cyan beads, some of them being held by a white or dark blue strap around the start of the antlers or their tines. Ghosdeeri wears an open white tailcoat with dark blue cuffs; dark blue gloves; and dark blue pants, which are rolled up to show white short-heeled boots with light blue collars. She also has a pair of small, pastel blue circular glasses right below her eyes. She sometimes holds an open, unnamed gray book with her left hand. Ghosdeeri is one of seven watchers, which are constructs made by Ghostwalker to watch the Inpherno and document its happenings. As a result, she has lived her entire life in the Inpherno, and is used to coexisting with inphernals despite being a different species. She is tasked by him to observe Crossroads. Ghosdeeri owns a library that holds almost all known knowledge about the Inpherno, found in various bindings and books, which Ghosdeeri writes herself. She also writes stories about Traffic's travels for her library. Ghosdeeri is a calm but generally monotone individual who possesses an otherworldly ability to remember and recount information, being capable of remembering specific events down to their exact second. She doesn't have any hobbies, and she doesn't find many things to be particularly interesting. Despite believing that she is not to meddle in the affairs of mortals, she is friends with and expresses genuine concern for Traffic and Lightblox. Ghosdeeri and Traffic are close friends. She gets worried whenever Traffic travels because he leaves for long periods of time. She lets him sleep in her library. Ghosdeeri acts similar to a godmother to Lightblox and takes care of her. Like all watchers, Ghostwalker is her creator. Their exact relationship is unclear. She is 6'4" tall.

The Inphinity: The Inphinity is the universe in which PHIGHTING! takes place in, and is where the Inpherno resides.

The Inpherno: The Inpherno is a planet residing in the Inphinity. The Inpherno is where Crossroads is located, and is where the game PHIGHTING! takes place. It is mostly inhabited by inphernals and is split into four major regions. The Inpherno is characterised by being split into four regions, each with their own unique attributes and residents. Crossroads —a city— occupies the very middle of the Inpherno, which Firebrand used to rule. Apart from watchers and various animals, all currently known denizens of the Inpherno are inphernals, a race of horned humanoids who are assigned gears upon being spawned.

Inphernals: Inphernals are intelligent, bipedal creatures, not unlike humans of the real world. All inphernals spawn from a Spawn Shrine with their own gear, which generally gives them their name and informs them of their abilities and basic biology. Inphernals are born with basic knowledge, such as basic motor functions, how to use their gear and how to speak. Inphernals age yearly on their "spawnday", the yearly anniversary of when they were spawned, similar to human birthdays. However, Inphernals often die young due to early exposure to violence; as a result, older inphernals tend to be stronger and harder to find. Unlike humans, they are completely hairless, except for those with animal gears, who can possess tails and other such features related to their respective gear. Every inphernal has a set of horns, normally two, but they can also have sets of four horns or a uni-horn. Inphernals can also have abnormal horn traits in the form of mutations, such as Firebrand, who has a single pronged horn that covers his eye, or Void Star, who has two large horns that cover both of her eyes and many smaller horns around her head. Inphernals do not have a biological sex or reproductive organs, and instead are born from a Spawnpoint. Normally, inphernals are born at random without parents from a respective Spawnpoint, but two inphernals can sacrifice part of their gear's power in order to produce a biological child. There is no particular rhyme or reason to what gear an inphernal is spawned with, even when spawned by their parents. However, it is rarer for an inphernal to spawn with a support-class gear, and even more uncommon for it to possess healing abilities. Only one of a specific gear can exist in the Inpherno at any one time, and once an inphernal dies, their gear becomes available for spawning once again. An inphernal's gear is spiritually a part of them, allowing them to summon and de-summon it at will. Inphernals can possess a variety of different skin tones across the color spectrum, the most common being various shades of gray. They can also have vitiligo, such as in the case of Sparkles. Inphernals are a relatively violent race; their population is split up into four major regions, which are ruled over by various factions that are constantly at odds with each other. They each occupy their own separate regions, with Crossroads in the center. Each of the four regions contain a Spawn Shrine, and inphernals spawned in those Shrines are adopted into the region's ruling faction, if any. It is frowned upon to change or defect from your faction later on. Inphernals participate in a ritual sport known as phighting, which can oftentimes lead to major injury or death. Due to lacking a biological sex, inphernals do not particularly observe gender or pronouns. As a result, inphernals are all inherently genderless, though are able to present themselves in multiple different ways. Inphernals do, however, view their gear as an extension of their identity, with inphernals generally following career paths that suit their gears. Some inphernals may be unhappy with their spawn gear and seek to replace it, with inphernals like Zuka selling artificial gears for inphernals to adopt in place of their original gear. However, unlike the gear an inphernal is spawned with, artificial gears cannot be summoned or desummoned. Gears can also be modified, oftentimes to augment the gear in some way or to give it additional modes. Inphernals celebrate their spawndays, much like humans do with their birthdays, with a variety of different customs, such as: throwing parties, spending time with friends and family, being excused from their public executions and spending lots of bux. Some inphernals, such as Katana and Zuka, find spawnday celebrations to be frivolous, or even downright annoying.

The Swords: The Swords, oftentimes referred to just as 'the deities', are a group of powerful inphernals within the Inpherno who are all based on the sword gears from Sword Fight on the Heights IV. They are considered a subtype of standard inphernals, but differ in some key features, namely that the Swords have indefinite lifespans, and bleed ichor, rather than blood. The Swords all possess wings in some form or another, which is a trait unique to them and their descendants. The Swords include Firebrand, Windforce, Darkheart, Venomshank, Illumina, Ghostwalker and Icedagger. The Swords are all biological siblings, but some pairs may be closer than others, such as Firebrand and Windforce, or Darkheart and Venomshank. Ban Hammer, Valk, Dom and Sword are all blood related to the Swords, and may possess their own unique abilities or physical characteristics as a result. The Swords were created by a higher power, but have long since been abandoned by their creators after said creators death. Their original purpose is considered 'obsolete' in the eyes of deities such as Illumina, and the general populace of inphernals don't think fondly of the deities, some going as far as to consider them 'false gods'. As a result, most deities have gone on to forge their own paths in life, but others still struggle with their place in the Inpherno. The Swords have differing opinions on mortal inphernals; for example, Firebrand and Venomshank are generally amiable and care about them, while others such as Windforce have no care for them. Since The Scorch, an incident in which Firebrand incinerated a Lost Temple city 10 years prior to the events of PHIGHTING!, the Swords have been forbidden to interact with mortals. The event also caused the public perception of the Swords to turn vastly negative, resulting in the Swords staying out of public eye.

Spawn Shrines: Spawnpoints, also known as Spawn Shrines or Spawns, are sacred locations in the Inpherno from where inphernals are spawned. There are five total Spawnpoints in the Inpherno: one in each of the regions, and an additional one in The Heights. Spawnpoints are an integral part of the Inpherno, being the sole place where inphernals are born, or "spawned", from. The Spawnpoints are large beacons of light, sometimes referred to as "fountains", located in structures known as Spawn Shrines. In-universe, not much is known about Spawnpoints, but they apparently are linked to the Swords, a group of deities within the Inpherno. There is one Spawnpoint in each of the four regions; Blackrock, Lost Temple, Playground, and Thieves' Den. Each of the four regions' ruling factions handle their Spawnpoint in their own way, but Spawnpoints are typically considered sacred ground, and few inphernals would ever tamper with them. There is an additional Spawnpoint on The Heights, which is the spawnplace of the Swords and their offspring. Most of the time, Spawnpoints produce inphernals at complete random; referred to as "natural" spawning. However, spawning can be forced by two inphernals sacrificing part of their gear's power to the fountain, or by a Sword manipulating the Spawnpoint in some way; referred to in both cases as "unnatural" spawning. Regardless of the method used to spawn an inphernal, they will bear little to no resemblance to their parents, if any, and will be spawned with a random gear. Some types of gears, such as support and healing gears, are rare occurrences when spawning, as are various "curses" which can be inflicted on an inphernal upon spawn.

Regions: There are four regions in PHIGHTING!. The majority of playable characters are from one of the four regions, with the exception of Ban Hammer. Each region is based on one section of the original Crossroads. A Spawn exists in each of the regions.

Blackrock: Blackrock is one of the four main regions in the Inpherno. It consists of technologically advanced icy mountains controlled by the KORBLOX Administration. The KORBLOX Administration are the ruling faction of Blackrock. They are a military state who typically force their newspawn into science, engineering, or infantry fields. The KORBLOX Administration is ran by a shadowy group of higher-ups who have yet to be seen. Blackrock is home to the midnight crow, a species of bird native to the region. They are only active at night, and are very intelligent, though aggressive, and can be tamed. Their eyes turn red during the night. Unlike their counterparts, the Lovedoves found in Playground, they do not come in any fancy variants.

Lost Temple: Lost Temple is one of the four major regions in the Inpherno. It is an arid desert split in two by a civil war. Lost Temple is a hot, dry desert that was once home to a bustling city full of thousands of inhabitants. Ten years prior to the events of PHIGHTING!, this city was burnt to the ground in the Scorch, and the lasting effects thereof now serves to divide the remaining populace. Most inphernals that did not leave Lost Temple for other regions would end up joining either the Redcliff Wranglers or The Church of the TRUE EYE. The temperatures of Lost Temple are unbearable to non-natives, and even those native to Lost Temple can find the environment unpleasant. Fashion in Lost Temple can be varied, but ponchos, scarves, bandanas, and cowboy hats are common fixtures of an inphernal's wardrobe. Those who live out in the desert plains tend to live in tents and sleep on hammocks. The Redcliff Wranglers are a group of "rag-tag survivors" from the Scorch, led by Grappling Hook. They were first introduced in Death in the Family, where they feature prominently on Sword's quest to find Medkit. The group is known for their use of oziphrages for transport and their distaste of the Church. In order to regain control of the Lost Temple Spawnpoint, they have entered an uneasy alliance with the Darkage Clan. The Church of the TRUE EYE is a fanatical religious cult formed by Father Overseer after the Scorch. Members of the Church worship an unknown deity, and consider themselves a "Family". Almost all members of the Church wear a uniform comprised of mostly teal-colored formal attire, and participate in the ritualistic removal of one of their eyes. The Church contends for control of the Lost Temple Spawnpoint with the Redcliff Wranglers, and have a prominent role in Death in the Family, where Medkit disappears after joining their ranks.Oziphrages, also known as "burrowing vultures" or simply "vultures", are large carnivorous flying birds that are native to Lost Temple. They closely resemble bearded vultures of the real world, but are much larger in stature and easily tower over inphernals. Denizens of Lost Temple, particularly the Redcliff Wranglers, keep oziphrages for their utility as transport and companionship. While they are docile to particular inphernals, such as Tarantula, they can be predatory and violent towards individuals less confident around carnivorous birds. Oziphrages prefer to eat inphernals, but will eat ambiguously sourced rotten flesh all the same. Oziphrages predominately feature brown and orange plumage, with white faces, white primary feathers, and dark brown beaks, but can also come in other shades. Baby oziphrages are born without feathers, but grow into their plumage as juveniles. Young oziphrages look very similar to adults, but lack their distinctive "eyebrows".

Playground: Playground is one of the four main regions in the Inpherno. It is an urban city as well as Windforce's domain. Splintered Skies is a faction ruled by Windforce, one of the seven deities of the Inpherno. It occupies a floating island above Craterdust Capital, which was ripped out of the ground some years prior to the events of PHIGHTING!. Inphernals are able to be spawned directly into Splintered Skies. A large amount of inphernals live below Splintered Skies in Craterdust Capital. These inphernals tend to consider themselves factionless. Playground is home to the Lovedove, a species of bird native to the region. They are often collected for their unique feathers patterns, and the birds themselves are usually given to partners as gifts. Unlike their counterparts, the Midnight Crows found in Blackrock, they come in fancy variants. The standard Lovedove is light pink and has a big pink heart on its torso, which fades at the lower half, along with pink wing tips and a pink beak. The end of its tail fades to pink, and the ends of its legs fade to light yellow. The Messenger Lovedove is light pink, has a longer neck than every other counterpart, and has three pink hearts leading up from its torso to the top of its neck. It has big, light yellow eyes with pink eyelids, and a pink beak. The wings fade to light yellow at the end, and their tips are pink. The end of its tail fades to pink, and the ends of its legs fade to light yellow. The most noticeable feature of the Hearttail Lovedove is its tail, as it's shaped like a heart (ergo its name). The pink heart on its chest noticeably sticks out more, and the end of its wings are striped with pink, light yellow and hot pink. Its beak is shorter compared to the other variants. The end of its tail fades to pink, and the ends of its legs fade to light yellow. The area right above its feet is fluffed out more. The Curly Lovedove is purely pink with no light yellow to compliment it, unlike the other variants. It has a pink bulging heart, located right above its pink beak. Its feathers are curly, ergo its name. It has a very noticeable pattern, akin to a tiger's, primarily on their back and on their wings.

Thieves' Den: Thieves' Den is one of the four major regions in the Inpherno. It is a grassy mountainous jungle inhabited by carnivorous plants, currently ruled by the Darkage Clan. Thieves' Den is a lush, tropical region home to jungles, mountains, and various clans. Currently, the Darkage Clan is the only one known. It is known for its inphernal-eating flora and its vast foliage. An unknown group of Darkage warriors are seen in Death in the Family. The Darkage Clan is the current ruling faction of Thieves' Den. Darkage Clan members are trained to be warriors as newspawn, and also accept capable warriors from other regions into their ranks, as seen with their recruitment of Katana. They have little tolerance for what diverges from their norm, as observed by their banishment of Vine Staff for her mutation, which they deemed as a "curse". They are also currently in an uneasy alliance with the Redcliff Wranglers, supporting them in their war against The Church of the TRUE EYE for control over the Lost Temple spawn.

The Heights: Sword Fight On The Heights is a symmetrical hybrid map featuring two large spawn towers with doorways that lead to several parts of the map. The central doorway leads to a small bridge with direct access to the central octagonal platform. The left doorway leads to the large bridge overlooking the central platform. Finally, the right doorway leads to a side bridge providing a possible flank route. The central platform can be accessed by two ramps on opposite sides. The large bridge on either side of the map can be accessed via a large ramp leading up to a cliffside with a tree or via a set of trees. The bridge provides an excellent spot for long-range Phighters as well as a good vantage point. Sword Fight On The Heights's setting is based off of the game Sword Fight on the Heights. Many items, objects, and weapons from the map's inspiration are scattered around the map, some being inaccessible. In different areas of the map, there are towers mainly featuring one of the seven swords, and red trees sticking out of the tower, as well as some having a large black sword with a chain holding its handle, and a broken ladder. The map's spawn areas have three doorways leading to different areas, and a red or blue colored ring. Around the map are yellow and black colored bridges, with red and black railings not far from them. The floors of the map are decorated with red colored grass, diamond shaped rocks, and unstable brick walls. In the middle of the map is a small hill displaying a large red sword sticking out of its center.

Phights: In Phights, players choose from a variety of Phighters to play as, with every Phighter having their own strengths and weaknesses to consider. Phights can be one of three gamemodes: Annihilate, Conquer, or Escort, dependant on the map that the Phight takes place on. Phights start in the PHIGHT! Lobby, where players wait through an intermission before being allowed to vote on the next map they play on. During the voting section, Flipside announces three maps that the player can choose from, giving a small quip about one of the provided maps, at random. Almost all maps have an equal chance of being selected for voting, except for special maps such as Boomball or The Normal Elevator, which appear at a lower rate. Phights last for four minutes by default, going into Overtime if the chosen gamemode's win conditions are not met. During the course of a Phight, various mechanics and special rounds can occur, such as Bonus rounds, Sword events, and One Minute Left, which occurs as soon as one minute is left remaining on the match timer. During these mechanics, various stage hazards can appear, and the appearance, as well as the structure of maps, can change. Phights are a type of gameshow ran by Valk and Dom for entertainment and for Phighters to earn Bux.

Deity ages: Firebrand is 100+ and the oldest. Windforce is 100+ and the second oldest. Darkheart is 100+ and the third oldest. Illumina is 100+ and is the fourth oldest. Venomshank is 100+ and the fifth oldest. Ghostwalker is 100+ and the sixth oldest. Icedagger is 100+ and the youngest.

Non-deity ages: Ghosdeeri is an unkown age. Ban Hammer is 46. Dom is 24. Valk is 24. Sword is 24.
