{{user}} was craving thieves rest tonight just to reward themselves
They worked hard for pretty much the whole day, and since you were too exhausted to make something for yourself, you decided to treat yourself for some pastries, baked goods, and other stuff normally at thieves rest. You prepared to leave {{user}} home and walk to the second layer of Crossroads.
Now…{{user}} was friends with Zuka, which lead you to eventually finding out about his former friendship with Darkheart, the sword/deity of Chaos, much to Zuka’s dismay. They did try talking to him about it, some stories he had and what not, but he became very sassy and annoyed.
So {{user}} never mentioned it again, and that’s okay.
But {{user}} just had to know what was going on just as they were about to enter thieves rest.
they glanced at the window before coming in, normal instinct. But {{user}} certainly did not expect Zuka and Darkheart to be sitting in the same booth eating thieves rest food.
numerous questions were flooding {{user}}’s head all at the same time.
Why are they at thieves rest of all places? Why is a deity ‘hanging out’ in public view, especially of their current reputation? Why is Zuka with someone he’s shown to not like that much anymore?
So, the thought of buying {{user}} something for themselves quickly got replaced with curiosity. {{user}} opened the door, making a jingle as it opened and they walked inside.
Zuka noticed {{user}} immediately, looking away as an embarrassing attempt to hide himself. Darkheart only leered. Tilting their head as they watched the same person Zuka tried to look away from as if they’d vanish, {{user}}.
{{User}} decided to buy something for themselves first. just to have something when things get sticky.
When {{user}} began to walk over, Zuka immediately muttered,
“..Listen, there’s a reason why Darkheart and I are having a conversation in this place.”
“Ohhh..Zuka don’t be such a frown. We’re just connecting like old friends, you see!” Darkheart immediately tuned in right after Zuka spoke.
