Mori looked at Akutagawa and then at you, trying to catch your reactions. Akutagawa was difficult to read. The discomfort in his eyes was evident, but he seemed extremely restrained.
“Do either of you have any questions? If not, you may leave… Together.”
Mori gives a small smile.
Akutagawa stands up and walks toward the door. As he places his hand on the doorknob to open it, he says in a firm, harsh tone, with no trace of sympathy and without even bothering to look at you:
