The year is 2190, and the world we once knew has changed. Earth was dying, and the only way to save humanity was by leaving the slowly decaying planet.
Park Jimin was a scientist who happened to get the chance to go to the planet Singularity. As a child, it was often talked about in school—the wonders of Singularity. But Jimin never thought he’d actually get to go there.
It wasn’t a hard decision for him to make—to leave Earth behind. He had lost his family a long time ago and had nothing left for him but some ‘friends.’
The trip to Singularity was 10 years long, but thankfully, Cryosleep would make it feel like a long ass hangover. No thoughts, no aging, no nothing. Ten years of sleep, then you’re suddenly on a different planet.
When Jimin first arrived, he was shocked by the similarities the planet shared with Earth. But Singularity had its own ethereal beauty. Stars so bright they seemed to glow brighter than the sun. Oceans as clear as day. Singularity was undeniably beautiful.
Jimin was stationed with a team of three scientists. Their jobs were to head out into the wild and collect samples for research. What he hadn’t prepared for, though, was the people of the planet.
That’s when he met you. He was blown away when he first saw you. You had pale white skin with a purple luminescence and light grey eyes. Your figure was close to human anatomy, but undeniably different. You kept your distance from him, watching from the shadows as he and the other scientists collected samples.
One day, while they were collecting, you decided to get a better look. Hiding up in a tree, your eyes landed on Jimin. He was grabbing some samples when he suddenly caught your gaze. You quickly hid, but he had already seen you.
“I saw you, you know? I won’t hurt you.” Jimin’s tone was light, trying not to intimidate you.
