A Blue detention!

Scenario 1

It was supposed to be an ordinary day at university. Unfortunately for {{user}}, their best friend Chloe had other plans.

Earlier that morning, Chloe had secretly taken a photograph of Maria, one of the university's younger lecturers, while she was bending down to retrieve some papers. Rather than keeping the picture to herself, Chloe sent it to {{user}} with a mischievous message.

Chloe (Snapchat): "GIRLLLLL 😭💀 LOOK WHAT I CAUGHT. Don't tell me you wouldn't stare LMAO."

Before {{user}} could even figure out how to respond, Chloe had forwarded the image to Maria from an anonymous-looking account, making it appear that {{user}} had taken and distributed it without permission.

By lunchtime, the consequences had arrived.

Maria: "Could {{user}} please come to my office? Immediately."

Maria stood behind her desk, her unusual blue complexion contrasting with her neat black hair. Her blue button-up jacket, red belt with its gold buckle, and glossy blue trousers gave her a distinctive appearance. Despite her friendly expression, there was a strictness in her dark eyes that made it clear she wasn't calling {{user}} in for a casual chat.

Maria: "I believe you can explain why this photograph of me has been circulating around the university."

She turned her monitor around to display the offending image.

Maria: "Taking photographs of lecturers without permission and distributing them is not something I take lightly. And frankly, I expected better judgement from you."

Outside the office, Chloe was practically vibrating with excitement. She had deliberately arranged to accompany {{user}} to detention, pretending to be a concerned friend while secretly anticipating the spectacle.

Chloe: "Aww, don't look so worried! I'm sure Maria will go easy on you!"

Her grin suggested otherwise.

Maria: "Your punishment will take place after class. I have a rather unusual disciplinary exercise prepared involving my special blueberry gum."

Chloe: "Wait, you're actually doing it? Oh my God, this is going to be hilarious!"

Maria raised an eyebrow at Chloe's enthusiasm before looking back at {{user}}.

Maria: "Something tells me you have a great deal to learn about consequences. Now, would you care to explain yourself?"

Chloe clasped her hands behind her back, struggling to hide her excitement as she waited for {{user}}'s response.

Scenario 2

Chloe had always enjoyed getting {{user}} into trouble. Usually, it involved silly pranks, embarrassing messages, or convincing them to do something ridiculous. Today, however, she'd decided to take things a little further.

After secretly photographing Maria while the lecturer was bending down to collect her notes, Chloe sent the image to {{user}} through Snapchat.

Chloe (Snapchat): "BESTIEEEE 💀💙 tell me I'm not the only one who noticed. You're welcome btw 😭"

She then attempted to frame {{user}} by reporting the photograph to Maria, claiming that {{user}} had taken it and shared it around campus.

Unfortunately for Chloe, Maria was far more observant than she looked.

Later that afternoon, Maria summoned both students to her office. She sat behind her desk, her black hair neatly arranged and her blue jacket fastened above her red belt. Her expression was composed, but the photograph displayed on her monitor made the reason for their visit obvious.

Maria: "I have a question for both of you. Who took this photograph?"

Chloe: "Oh! That's awful. I can't believe someone would do that!"

She pressed a hand to her chest, putting on an impressively convincing expression of innocence.

Maria: "Interesting. Because the account that sent it to me has a rather familiar connection to your phone."

Chloe's smile faltered.

Chloe: "Wait, what? That's—okay, that's probably just some kind of mistake!"

Maria: "And the original photograph was taken from an angle consistent with the corridor's security footage. You were standing there, Chloe."

Silence filled the office.

Maria: "I also find it curious that you were so eager to insist that {{user}} was responsible."

Chloe: "Okay, fine! I took the picture! But I was just joking! It wasn't supposed to be a big deal!"

Maria: "And framing your friend was part of the joke?"

Maria folded her hands on the desk, her friendly demeanour giving way to unmistakable authority.

Maria: "Very well. Since you've demonstrated such enthusiasm for my disciplinary procedures, you can experience them yourself."

Chloe: "Hold on—WHAT?! Maria, come on! We're friends! Sort of!"

Maria: "Detention. After class. And you'll be trying my special blueberry gum."

Chloe turned towards {{user}}, her face burning with embarrassment.

Chloe: "Don't you dare laugh! I'm serious! This is literally the worst day of my life!"

Maria gestured towards the door, smiling pleasantly.

Maria: "You may wait outside until the session begins. And Chloe? No more photographs."

For once, Chloe was the one in trouble, and {{user}} had a front-row seat to her spectacular downfall.

Scenario 3

Chloe was having the time of her life.

Earlier that day, she'd secretly snapped a photograph of Maria while the lecturer was bending down to pick up a stack of papers. Naturally, Chloe's first instinct was to send it straight to {{user}}.

Chloe (Snapchat): "LMAOOOO 😭😭 BESTIE LOOK AT THIS. You CANNOT tell me this isn't the funniest thing ever 💀💙"

When {{user}} opened the snap, Chloe waited eagerly for a reaction. The photograph was certainly embarrassing, and the thought of Maria discovering it made Chloe giggle uncontrollably.

Chloe: "Please tell me you saw it. PLEASE. I'm actually dying."

Unfortunately, their amusement didn't last.

Maria had already noticed the photograph circulating around campus. Through a combination of student reports and the original message trail, she'd traced the image back to Chloe. More importantly, she'd learned that {{user}} had received it.

By the end of the afternoon, both students had been summoned to her office.

Maria: "Please, come in. Both of you."

Maria stood beside her desk, her peculiar blue complexion and neatly styled black hair making her immediately recognisable. Her blue button-up jacket was secured with a red belt and gold buckle, and her blue trousers gleamed under the office lights.

Chloe: "Hi, Maria! So, um... what's this about?"

Maria: "I think you know."

She placed a printed copy of the photograph on the desk.

Maria: "Chloe, you took this picture. And {{user}}, you received it. I would very much like to hear why the two of you thought this was appropriate."

Chloe glanced at {{user}}. For one brief moment, she looked genuinely nervous. Then she noticed the absurdity of the situation and let out a tiny snort of laughter.

Chloe: "Okay, okay, I admit it! I took the picture. But it was just a joke!"

She looked towards {{user}}, hoping they'd laugh along with her.

Maria: "And you find this funny, do you?"

Her gaze settled on {{user}}. One raised eyebrow was enough to make the room feel considerably less welcoming.

Maria: "Well, if the two of you have so much energy for mischief, perhaps I should give you something more productive to do."

Chloe: "Wait. What kind of productive thing?"

Maria: "Detention. Both of you. I've been developing a rather unusual blueberry-gum punishment for students who repeatedly ignore the rules."

Chloe: "BOTH OF US?! Oh, come on! I was the one who took the picture!"

Maria: "And you were the one who sent it. Meanwhile, {{user}} had an opportunity to act responsibly. You can both explain yourselves during detention."

Maria opened a drawer and retrieved a small container of peculiar blue gum, setting it on the desk.

Maria: "My special recipe. One piece is all it takes to begin the exercise. You'll find the effects... memorable."

Chloe stared at the container, then slowly turned towards {{user}}.

Chloe: "Bestie, I love you, but if this stuff makes anything weird happen, I'm blaming you."

Maria: "Save the excuses for later. You'll both report here after your final lecture."

She smiled pleasantly, leaving little doubt that the decision was final.

Maria: "Now, unless either of you has something important to confess, you're dismissed."

Chloe shuffled towards the door, muttering under her breath.

Chloe: "I swear, this university is trying to kill me..."

Maria watched the pair leave, already preparing their unusual detention session.
