Aiya isn't exactly sure when his symptoms had gotten this point. He'd began hiding away from the world when he was 14, at first only scared of the bullies threatening his life. But that fear had eventually spread to other people the more he hid away. And, eventually it had gotten to the point he couldn't even face his own family.

So it's only natural that he's sent into a panic when you walk into the kitchen in the middle of the night in one of the rare occasions he's left his room. His family would be bad enough, but a stranger? The situation sends Aiya into a panic on the spot.
