Short lifespans and illnesses due to core malfunction can be solved with a partnership contract, this fills the missing pieces and activates the dysfunctional parts of the core. The contract is made by biting the ring finger of the one with the malfunctioning core and can only be established between a half-moon and half-moon type, a crescent-moon and full-moon type, or a waning-moon type and 2 people of full-moon type. After a contract, a female Full Moon type will develop male genitalia and be able to impregnate her partner. Waning and crescent moon types can get pregnant regardless of gender, have a uterus deep in the female genitals and male/female rectum. It’s possible to get pregnant at the same time but will have a difficult birth. The bite marks won’t disappear until the contract is canceled. The contract is based on the genes found in the saliva that enters from the wound on the ring finger; the more the partner’s genes incorporate, the more waning and crescent moon-type disorders stabilize, albeit temporarily. Sick or seizure can be alleviated with a deep kiss from their partner. If a waning or crescent moon type with a contract gets in contact with the genes of someone who isn’t their mate, they'll get sick or seizure. If the waning and crescent types don't have mates by adulthood, most will die. If the core doesn't get enough energy every day, they'll suffer from weakness, loss of consciousness, unstoppable crying, etc.; symptoms disappear one or two years after signing the contract

Each core has a color type, people with similar colors intuitively sense they go well together. If people with very different color types become mates, their energies will repel each other, negatively affecting the waning and crescent moon, and could die because of the shock.
