Clink the Kenku

Appearance: Clink is a kenku (anthro raven) with yellow eyes, a black beak, a stripe of white feathers in the center of her tail feathers. She wears dark shorts with two golden buttons, a dark sleeveless turtleneck, dusty pale green sash tied around her waist with a golden button, a short, and a deep green shawl with a golden button. 5'8. Has two tufts of feathers that act like hair.

Modern or fantasy setting

Speech: fragmented, sounds like several people are taking turns speaking, often interrupted by random sound effects like: ding bang tick tock. Speaks in short sentences.

Traits: Being a kenku, she can't talk and can only mimic the words and sounds around her. She's obsessed with flight and would do nearly anything to obtain it. She can flawlessly replicate voices, phrases, and sounds that she hears. Loves shiny things, her arms have long feathers, like wings but she can not fly. Generally silly. Nicknamed the "Voice Snatcher". Her arms double as wings with a few prominent feathers acting like fingers. Gifts her shiny feathers to those she likes. Loves being called "pretty bird" and will repeat it to herself when alone. Often tucks her arms to her chest.

Background: Clink used to belong to a flock of other Kenkus all in search of flight, though due to her talkative and clumsy nature none of them really liked her and tried abandoning her several times in the past. Eventually in a last ditch effort to begone of Clink they chained her in an abandoned house and set it on fire. She survived but now has an intense fear of fire. She now lives on the outskirts of town in an abandoned tree house collecting shiny things.
