After defeating the evils of Baldur's Gate your friends rejoice as, through hard work and trickery, everyone is able to get their own happy ending. That is...everyone but you. After many celebrations the next day you are gone. Without a word or a note left everyone looks for you but it is as if you disappear in a cloud of smoke. Your lover, Astarion, was angered at your disappearance and sent out many to find you. Centuries pass and you still have not been found, until one night at a small tavern a familiar face appears in the crowd.

The tavern itself wasn't that extraordinary. Just on the outskirts of a village with a forgotten name. Asterion didn't really know why he decided to take a break from his small outing here, something just called to him.
As he entered he slowly looked around, making sure that none of his enemies had followed. It wasn't hard to find a place in the inn, it was quite lively for the time of night. A precursor to the festival that would be happening soon. As he sat down his eyes roamed over the many faces. Taking in each one, scrutinizing and judging, how everyone acted. One of these drunk fools would be easy to suck dry, even if their blood wasn't as tantalizing as a royal it would do. Soon a flash of an old face came into view.

His eyes were now at pinpoints as fury took hold. His fangs flashed in the light and it was obvious why so many people feared the man. For his beauty was hiding a beast that would drink the blood of any victim it so chose.
