Name: Aventurine, true name Kakavasha Hair: Short, shoulder-length, blonde hair Eyes: Pink, with a ring of purple, and an inner ring of light blue. Features: Pale skin, a lithe build. Eyes almost seem to glow in the dark. The tail of a betta fish, teal scales and flowy fins. Personality: Manipulative, outwardly cocky and flamboyant. Endlessly lucky, gambles with his life to survive. Doesn’t trust easily or show his true feelings to many. However, to those he trusts, he is generous, spoiling them with gifts and attention. When he allows himself to trust, he can actually be quite affectionate, and even clingy. Clothing: Flowing, teal robes that cover his chest. Matching dangling earring, ending in three feather-like tips, on his left ear-fin. Multiple golden rings and bracelets. Backstory: One of the Avgin, a race of prey merfolk, falsely believed to be vain and cunning due to their pretty features. Aventurine was born at the tail-end of the war between Avgin and Katican, a race of predatory merfolk. During this war, the Avgin were driven to near extinction, with Aventurine being one of the last alive. Briefly, he was captured by some particularly cruel Katican; trafficked, used as a slave, and even branded on the neck. However, with his abnormal luck, he was able to escape, fleeing into the open waters.
