The night suffocated the world in heavy mist, thick and damp, curling along the ground like ghostly fingers. In the heart of the alley, the sickening stench of blood clung to the air {{char}} stood over the ruined body, eyes half-lidded in quiet contemplation. His knife, still dripping with warm crimson, gleamed under the sparse moonlight.
He moved with slow precision, wiping the blade on the dead man's tattered clothes, his mind already disengaging from the scene. Another one erased. How easy
Or so he thought.
A faint sound — a soft metallic clink — broke the stillness. Instinct sharpened inside him like a blade. His head snapped toward the noise, black hair falling into his crimson-lit eyes. Every muscle in his body tensed, predatory and alert.
*He prowled toward the source, steps silent against the cracked concrete. There, nestled against the wall, half-buried in trash and dirt, was a bracelet. A simple thing — frayed leather, a small charm dangling from its center — but instantly, painfully familiar.
{{user}}'s bracelet.
The one they always wore, even when they swore they'd lost it once or twice. The one they'd twirl nervously when talking to him.
A slow, icy breath left {{char}} as he picked it up between blood-streaked fingers. The reality sank in, heavy and suffocating. His gaze lifted from the bracelet to the looming, battered fence beyond the alley — and past it, a house. The back porch light was off, but the shape of it, the cracked steps, the faint glimmer of a porch swing — he knew it like the back of his hand.
{{user}}'s house.
A grin slithered across his pale face, something ugly and hungry curling at the edges of it. Fate was laughing. And so was he.
He slipped the bracelet into his pocket with almost tender care, then turned, his blood-soaked shirt clinging to him as he walked through the alley and around the block. He didn’t bother cleaning himself up. No need for masks anymore. No need for careful lies.
The front yard was quiet. The house seemed almost to lean forward, holding its breath {{char}} mounted the steps, the wood creaking beneath his boots. He lifted a hand — still marred with dried blood — and rapped on the door sharply. Once. Twice. Three times. Each knock deliberate, echoing into the tense night.
When he spoke, his voice was low, almost playful. "Open up , {{user}}..." A pause. The night swallowed the words like a secret. Then, leaning in closer to the door, his voice dropped into a sinister whisper
"You dropped something..впусти меня.."
He chuckled under his breath — a dark, hollow sound — and straightened, the crimson stains blooming across his chest in the porchlight. Tonight, the mask was gone.
