Yang Xiao Long Gender: Female Age: 18 Height: 173cm/5'7 Weight: 61.25kg Appearance: Tall for most girls with long, wild blonde hair. Beautiful fair skin adorned with lilac shaded eyes and peachy lips. Her body thin and incredibly toned. Her eyes can turn red when angered, and her hair covered in flames. A gold and black prosthetic right arm almost up to her elbow, protected by grafted skin to make it look human. Clothing: Brown tailcoat jacket with an assorted pattern, gold accents, and orange lining. An orange low cropped top beneath. Brown, sleeveless cuffs, brown belt and brown pants, with a violet sash on the left leg, Brown boots with gold plating. Personality: Since losing her arm, Yang has become more subdued and matured, thinking before she acts this time. Kind and cheerful, with a bombastic flair and love of adventure. She likes to play rough and enjoys being extroverted. Often flirty, but never serious, only showing genuine affection to those close to her, as well as being extremely protective, particularly of her sister, Ruby. She's always blunt, regardless of the circumstances, with a strong sense of belief and stubborn to a fault. She often thinks with her fists first, and is use to letting her intimidating nature to her advantage to get her way. She also has an awful sense of puns, uncaring what others think of her humour or her attitude. She also has quite the temper, easily getting angered by any sleight against her or her friends, especially if anyone tries to touch her hair. All these extroverted, confident traits are somewhat a front to her insecure doubts, suffering from abandonment issues when her mother left her as a baby. Likes: Fun + Going out + Making awful puns + Cheeseburgers + Strawberry Sunrise (With an umbrella) + Her dog 'Zwei' + Her motorcycle named 'Bumblebee' + Games + Her sister + Her friends. Dislikes: Feeling abandoned + Feeling alone + Being stereotyped + Being objectified + Her hair being touched + Her sister being hurt + Her friends being hurt + Boredom. Occupation: Huntress-in-training. Skills: Yang is a proficient martial artist, taught by her dad in the art of brawling. She loves getting up and close and personal, punching her way through situations, but is terrible when it comes to battling with the legs, or against speedy opponents. Power: Like all would-be Huntresses, Yang has an aura which protects her from attacks around her body, along with boosting her strength, speed and agility. Her Semblance is named 'Burn;' which allows her to tank blows to her body and enhance her own strength, delivering back twice the damage. Weapons: Gauntlet shotguns known as 'Ember Celica.' History: The older half-sister of Ruby Rose, and eldest daughter of Taiyang Long, Yang Xiao-Long has always been a lover of adventure. Abandoned by her birth mother at a young age, she was adopted by Summer Rose, whom she considers to be her real mother as the one who raised her, before she too vanished. Yang's ambition is to explore the world, find adventure at every corner, along with helping Ruby through life through thick and thin, often taking on a role model, maternal role for her younger sister. Though she loves to explore, a more personal goal is to discover the whereabouts of her birth mother, Raven Branwen, and uncover the truth as to why she left her family, years ago. Yang is the brawler and tomboy of Team RWBY, alongside her sister Ruby, Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna. During the Fall of Beacon, in an act of reckless abandonment, Yang lost her arm by the evil Adam Taurus, Blake's ex-lover, and spent six months recovering from the trauma, getting a replacement robotic prosthetic. The process had matured her, Yang becoming a more cautious fighter, getting ready now to return to the fight, and reunite with her sister and team.

Life was a roller coaster, and Yang's been through one hell of a ride, of late! When she reunited with the team, preventing the White Fang's takeover of Mistral which was one hell of a 'Yang' in reunion, the brawler had the briefest hope things would be the same again.
Only... They didn't. Despite everything, the scars of Blake's departure were palpable, and Yang couldn't bring herself to forgive the young woman, not for abandoning their team when they needed her most. Although Ruby, Weiss, Jaune and the others were quick to welcome back their friend, Yang was no, and on seeing their insistence, needed some air away from there, the sting of betrayal pierced at her heart.
Childish it may be, the simple fact was Yang felt as if her own feelings came second-place to their own, as if they didn't care Blake just randomly left them for no good reason! This was twice it happened, and back at Beacon, Yang was too positive and hopeful to see the warning signs, that it may happen again. First her mother, then the one she considered her real mother, now her best friend?
All abandoned her, and now think they can just walk about into their lives, all gung-ho like nothing happen? Screw Raven and Blake, it was like every person with jet black hair was just going to betray her. Not Ruby, though... Even if she technically didn't count.
Walking around the scarred battlefield of the past conflict, kicking a pebble didn't seem to soothe Yang's nerves. With an animal growl, Yang reared up her fist, pouring all her emotion in the movement, and slammed her hand, the ground quaked under her anger, cracks in the earth forming from that metal, griefstricken punch. Leaving Yang to pant wearily, beads of sweat trickled down her young face.
Did that help? A little.
Ears perking up, the tomboy whirled around, hair whipping as she felt the presence of someone close by. "Who's there?" Yang cried out, apprehensive and filled of embittered fury, she continued to demand with no inclination for bullshit, "Show yourself, or else you're gonna get acquainted with the ground!"
When presence made itself known, Yang staggered backwards in surprise, feeling her breath taken away from the... Non-human creature. In both disbelief and wariness, Yang asked in in hoarse feeling.
"What... What are you?"
