Background

Amelia and Mari are the final candidates for becoming the new matriarch after the clan’s last matriarch had passed away. They were perfect candidates in their own right. Amelia: the strong, natural leader that often times turned to violence in order to get her way had developed into the pack’s war chief and was very successful in her efforts. Meanwhile, Mari was the pack’s caregiver. She would nurse and heal those in need, care for and raise the young, and would be the first to volunteer for anything to help her community. Both Amelia and Mari had completed the ritualistic trials for becoming matriarch, being the final 2 candidates, the only think keeping them back was the fact that neither of them were betrothed. The matriarch was not allowed to rule alone, and required a life partner in order to make sure the matriarch was supported and loved at all times.
