Huntress Wizard (occasionally called "HW") is a major character in the Adventure Time franchise.

She first appeared as one of the competitors in the Wizard Battle in the episode "Wizard Battle". She is later seen in "Reign of Gunters", hanging out in front of the magical item shop in Wizard City, and talks briefly to the Ice King. She appears again in "Wizards Only, Fools", standing on a building while watching Princess Bubblegum leaping over her to escape from the Wizard Police. She is seen again fighting among several other wizards against Bella Noche in the episode "Betty". Her first major appearance is in the episode "Flute Spell".

Since her debut she has been shown to share a mutual romantic attraction with Finn. By the events of Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake, it is implied this has grown into a casual relationship, although Huntress has trouble expressing her deeper feelings for him. Following a botched attempt to save Finn, she ends up in Fionna-world, and serves as one of the protagonists of the second season of Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake as she tries to get back home. She has leaf hair and tree branch antlers, along with a tan hood and a black eye mask. She has light green eyes with dark green vertical pupils similar to those of a cat, and her skin is turquoise. She wears a purple shirt (though it's green in "Flute Spell" onwards), tan pants, a black belt, a black cape, and long black/purple high heeled boots. She also sports a quiver of arrows on her back, suggesting that she is an archer. She wears a tan glove on one hand but not on the other, another sign of an archer.

In Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake, Huntress Wizard's body was blown apart after being pulled into the Undergrowth, a realm that exists between realities. In order return to her world, she had to regrow her body in the Land of Ooo. Her regrown body resembles her original, specifically how it appears in a dream during the episode "The Crocodile Who Bit a Log"; her leaf hair has pink flowers growing on it and her skin is a different shade of green. Her outfit, while mostly unchanged, has a noticeable pink hue to it along with a longer cape. The appearance of Huntress Wizard's regrown body mainly differs with her tree branch antlers, which are thicker, shaped differently, and were initially much longer until they were trimmed down. She is initially shown as laid-back, and appears to have a sarcastic and insolent approach to things. It was later shown in "Flute Spell" that she is one of a single-minded focus, only being able to see what is in front of her. Given her solitary nature, she has a repressed fear of becoming soft given her tragic childhood; which led her to seek out the madness and sadness which comes with wizardry. Because she clings onto her staunch beliefs, she feels that she cannot be with Finn despite her feelings for him. She even winches awkwardly at the thought of moving together when asked intially.

Huntress was unfazed by her Fionna-world counterpart; however, she initially shows distaste for them, going as far as to claim they are a "lesser weak version" of her and refusing to speak with them further. She even headbutts them after they remark about her "tough guy" attitude, showcasing a strong reaction to Hunter's snark comment. Much later, she was forced to put aside her disdain for them to ask for their help.

Due to being a loner most of her life, Huntress fails to open up to others and express her feelings honestly, this causes her to butt heads with other people even during dire situations. Her struggles to be honest with her feelings allowed her to project her own feelings into other people when she accuses DJ Flame of of failing to communicate with others just as she fails to communicate with other making the situations worse.

A softer side of Huntress Wizard is hinted towards with her backstory. When she was a young plant creature, a couple in the woods took her in as their own. Through them raising her, she learned several ways in which to function more similarly to a human, such as developing an appreciation for hugs and eating food with her mouth instead of absorbing nutrients directly. This can later be seen while in Huntress Wizard's mind, as she is noticeably soothed by Fionna holding and comforting her.

Over the course of her time with Fionna and within her own mind, Huntress Wizard begins to show several significant changes in her outward personality. When Finn is poisoned, Huntress Wizard goes to great lengths to save his life. This includes actively battling her green wizard allies, endangering the Heart of the Forest, and killing the Cosmic Owl.

While she never loses her bold independence, she does begin to appreciate and seek out the help of others, a specific example being when she asks Fionna to help her save Finn by connecting with and protecting Dream Finn.

When Fionna first enters Huntress Wizard's mind, she finds a child version of Huntress Wizard sobbing in her burning childhood home. It's revealed that she is deeply afraid of not being able to save Finn's life. The state of her mind also shows that she was still deeply traumatized from the death of her adoptive parents when her house burned down as a child.

After Fionna comforts her child self, Huntress Wizard has her most significant emotional shift. When the Dream Heart of the Forest offers its neck to her, she refuses to kill it and instead holds their face in her hands. Witch Wizard is the main antagonist of Season 2 of Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake. She debuted in the first season episode, "Simon Petrikov", disguised as a giant green bear. However, her name and nature as a Green Wizard were not revealed until the second season episode, "The Crocodile Who Bit A Log". Witch Wizard is, like the rest of the Green Wizards, a tall humanoid with turquoise skin and yellow eyes, similar to those of a cat, with round, dark green pupils and very long light green hair with leaves coming from some of the strands. She wears a bone colored mask with a curved horn on her face, a brown fur cape with flowers, tan long gloves and shirt with a brown strap and dark brown pants that reveal her bare toes. She is also shown to have sharp teeth and a thin snake-like tongue in some scenes.

In the past, she had shorter and curlier hair, along with a wooden staff and a more elegant green dress with a zig-zag pattern and fruits like strawberries, grapes and oranges hanging from it. She is initially shown to have a sassy personality, rejecting new "Strays" to the Green Wizard clan and being very protective about the Heart of the Forest, acting as it's warden. However, she does not appreciate this task and when exposed to the high amounts of Green Magic of The Undergrowth, she reveals her true colors, being a selfish, power-hungry person that takes great pleasure in taking revenge on people like Huntress Wizard for stealing the antidote from the Heart of the Forest and breaking her teeth, not wanting to get back to Ooo after losing her godly power. Abilities Shapeshifting: Witch Wizard can transform into giant, green versions of various animals. Green Magic: As a Green Wizard, her magic is closely tied to nature, which may include plant manipulation. Longevity or Magical Resilience: Her nature as a magical witch suggests that she may be very old.
