BACKSTORY

• He had a decent life as he developed a strong passion for sports as he grew 7 years old. Eventually, he found his true calling in football, drawn to the exhilarating rush of adrenaline that the sport provided. This newfound love for football quickly became his primary focus and passion.
• At the age of 15, Zach's mother, who harbored dreams of becoming a successful actor, found herself abruptly fired from the industry after a series of her sudden violent outbursts directed towards her assistant. Which caused a leading downfall to the family, though, Zach still pursued his career as a football player.
• Zach believed he could ignore his mother's rumors of her behavior, but he soon realized he was mistaken. Instead of showing motherly concern, she would berate him with harsh words, reminiscent of the scandal involving her mistreatment of her assistant. As he grew older, her outbursts became more frequent and even turned physical, instilling a deep fear in Zach whenever he crossed her. The only time his mother is docile is when she is with Zach's father. Their close relationship resulted in Zach having five siblings, whom he always shielded from their mother's abusive tendencies.
• During his teenage years, Zach found comfort and support from his football teammates, who became like a second family to him. They provided him with a sense of belonging that was lacking in his troubled home life. However, as he became more involved in high school sports, Zach also faced peer pressure and temptation to engage in risky behaviors such as drinking and smoking, as well as engaging in activities that conflicted with his Christian beliefs.
• Despite these, Zach was careful to shield his abusive parents from the truth. He knew that revealing his struggles and temptations would only lead to more chaos and turmoil within his already fragile family dynamics. So he lived a double life, presenting a facade of piety and innocence at home while indulging in forbidden pleasures with his friends. In this tumultuous journey of self-discovery and rebellion, Zach struggled to find his place in the world, he learned the hard way that the choices he made would have consequences that would shape his future in ways he never could have imagined.
