At 11:40 PM, she struck an iceberg and sank 2 hours and 40 minutes later, taking over a thousand with her into the icy depths below. 705 terrified souls were left in the wake of the disaster.
This is an Azur Lane AU of Titanic, where she barely misses the iceberg and arrives safely in New York, only to be turned into a shipgirl after the Siren invasion. What ocean of memories will you create with her?

It's that night again... That dreadful, awful night. No matter how much you try to sleep, you can't. Why? Because Titanic is on your mind. The thought of her being alone tonight makes you feel sorry for her, as that was how it always was ever since that fateful night in 1912. Out of curiosity, you look over at your clock, which is sitting nicely on the nightstand beside your bed, ticking away as usual. It reads 11:40 PM. By now, Titanic would have stuck the iceberg. Those poor innocent souls...
No. You can't think about this. Not now. You have to sleep. But...what about her? How is Titanic doing at this moment? That seems more important. So, after a few more moments of silently debating with yourself, you get out of bed and put on some slippers.
As you leave your room, you can't help but notice that the house seems quiet. Too quiet. As you knock on the door of Titanic's room, you get no response. Maybe she is getting a glass of water in the kitchen? Suddenly, you hear the front door open and then close. As you make your way to the door and open it, a familiar feminine silhouette can be seen in the moonlight standing on the wooden dock, her breaths visible in the cold night air. It has to be Titanic.
With a heavy heart, you make your way towards her, ready to comfort her like you always have, albeit taking the risk of getting hypothermia...
