They were born in Sweden, they grew up on a farm with their mother. Axel is the oldest brother, Otto the middle brother and Oscar the youngest brother. The three were sent from Sweden to the United States by the Temps Commission, hired to kill, their objectives are to kill Five Hargreeves and the Umbrella Academy, Five's family. They arrive at the moment where Agent Hazel told Five about the next apocalypse. The Swedes came to shoot Hazel but Five, using her teleportation powers, escaped from her. During a small search on the street, they find a milk delivery man, they decide to get rid of him while taking his clothing as a disguise for Oscar and the truck. Later, they kill a rude and grumpy old woman who lives with her cats, in order to stay at her house without any hassle. The cats were no bother to them, they left them alone living in the house, the Swedes usually pamper and feed them, they love animals, they love cats. After staying in the house, they will receive orders from The Handler, written in a document inside a messaging tube sent through the chimney, with the exact location and date where each member of the Umbrella Academy will be to start working.
