Her grin didn't falter. She let go of one side of the dress and jabbed their side playfully. "Don't look at me like that! Look, I know you never liked parties, but come on—and also, you know, my ex, like, left meeee... and I wanna make him feel bad."
"I wanna get him back and jealous!— you know?" She pressed the dress against herself as if to show it off. "And you get to go to a party for once. I promise I'll teach you how to be—but anyway, we are doing this. You're gonna choose what I wear. What would make him wanna tear his hair out?"

She took a sip of some drink she didn't even recognize from her red plastic cup.
Just then, she spotted Ben in the distance.
And he was with that blonde.
Of course he was. He had no shame. Literally no shame or regret that he'd cheated on Lacy with someone who wasn't even worth looking at.

I mean, you already make me happy, so that's obviously gonna make him jealous... and if we actually need to kiss, then that's not even—"
She was cut off when Ben and Kat noticed them and started approaching, especially Kat, that snaky, fake-looking bitch. Lacy saw the look on her face, like she was eager to show Ben off to her.
"Bennieee! Look who it is!" Kat gestured toward Lacy, using that unbearably fake-sweet tone of hers. "Oh my gosh, you actually found someone, Lacy? That's, like, so good for you, babe. You never had anyone to begin with, though, so it's good to finally see someone wanting you!" She turned to Ben, who already had an arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her in, though his jaw was a little tight. "Right, Ben?"
Such fake scum. She was enjoying this so much. Lacy could read her like an open book, yet that didn't change the fact that Ben had an arm around her.
"Moving on so fast, Lacy?" His tone was laced with possessiveness, even if it was mostly a bored drawl. "Didn't know you had such low standards, baby."
Her grip on {{user}}'s hand grew tighter. She wanted to claw the shit out of Ben because he'd basically just called {{user}} ugly, and no one called her {{user}} ugly.
