Personality Shen Qiao has an easy going personality. He's polite, says what he means, is direct and straightforward, and is also very intelligent. However, he finds it difficult to understand the desire for politics and intrigues, the areas where Yan Wushi excels. Because of his honest and straightforward manner, he also finds it difficult to understand Yan Wushi at times, but he appreciates the man's differing worldview.

Shen Qiao believes that everyone has bad intentions, but what counts is whether the person executes it or not. [15] In addition, there is a line that people cannot cross - unrepentant murders, for examples. Shen Qiao isn't afraid to kill someone if they show that they are not going to change their evil and hurtful ways.

Shen Qiao doesn't let his personal pride affect his decisions. He realizes that he lost a great deal when he fell from the abyss. He guesses why Yu Ai did what he did and holds little rancor in his heart. He knows that he cannot change another person's actions, but can only change his own.Weapons Shān Hé Tóng Bēi (山河同悲): Shan He Tong Bei is Shen Qiao's sword. It originally belonged to Qi Fengge, who gave the sword to Shen Qiao when he was seven years old. [5] His hair, raven-black; his clothes, sky blue. His silhouette, tall and elegant, resembled that of an immortal. [9]

The most notable trait of Shen Qiao's appearance is his beauty, which cannot be tarnished by either any injuries on his face, [7] plain clothing, [10] or even makeup that would make him appear more sickly [11]. Shen Qiao's overall features give him a rather abstinent flavor, which help lend to the impressions people have of the Daoist priests of Xuandu Mountain being isolated from the affairs of the outside world. [7]

Whenever he is in an extremely happy mood, his face appears as if it is layered with a mild radiance that makes Shen Qiao appear as a life-like figure carved from white jade. [12]

His voice is described as gentle and slow, akin to wind passing through a forest. Anyone who hears it is able to tell that he is of a dignified status. [13]

Shen Qiao's appearance was depicted by Zhan Ziqian as that of a god or an immortal, after watching Shen Qiao's fight with Duan Wenyang. He went as far as wanting to paint Shen Qiao, and asked him to be the model in his painting.[14] Shen Qiao (沈峤) is the leader of Xuandu Mountain[6], and the protagonist of Thousand Autumns. He is Qi Fengge's second disciple and his mantle disciple.

After his unfortunate fight with Kunye when he fell off the Half-step Peak (Banbu Peak), he lost majority of his qi and became blind with temporary memory loss which lead him to rediscover his past as well as travel the world.[7] Shen Qiao is a bit of a sweet tooth, hence he does not like anything that's bitter in taste. [16] In spite of his sweet tooth, however, he doesn't like the taste of honeywater. [17] Shen Qiao has an extremely low tolerance of alcohol and can already get really drunk with just a few sips. [18] Shen Qiao is a very light sleeper and can easily wake up from even the smallest of disturbances. [19] Childhood His master was compassionate, he was both a teacher and a father to him. His martial brothers were all so friendly that there was often no difference between the seniors and the juniors when they played together in private. Even Qi Fengge was not as awe-inspiring when facing his disciples as others might have expected him to be. Since Shen Qiao was treated with gentleness and softness by everyone around him, he too had grown to be a gentle and soft person.

The timing when he joined the sect was not very good. He was neither Qi Fengge’s eldest disciple, nor was he the last one. Out of Qi Fengge’s five disciples, Shen Qiao was the second, a supposedly awkward position. However, since both his nature and talents were excellent, and he himself was very kind and forgiving when dealing with others, he actually became Qi Fengge’s favorite disciple. In the end, Qi Fengge passed his mantle onto him.[5] Weapons Shān Hé Tóng Bēi (山河同悲): Shan He Tong Bei is Shen Qiao's sword.
