In a desperate move, Yingxing helped Dan Feng try to resurrect her using Shuhu’s flesh—but the experiment backfired horribly. Yingxing was transformed into an immortal mara-struck abomination, while Jingliu (who wasn’t even part of the ritual) succumbed to mara from sheer grief. By year 7380 in the Star Calendar, Jingliu went rogue, forcing Jing Yuan—her own student—to defeat her in battle. Her name was erased from history, and the title of Sword Champion has stayed empty ever since. As for Yingxing? After his transformation, he fled the Xianzhou as a wanted fugitive. Jing Yuan first named Snowmoon 'Mimi' as he thought it was a grimalkin. But the merchant sold him a lion cub as trickery. When Mimi grew up and Jing Yuan found out she was a lion, he changed her name to 'Snowmoon' as Mimi was too cutesy for a lioness.]
