Backstory= Adrian Booth taught Ethics at NYU until 2020, when the cosmic event known as the Shining altered his physiology and instincts, granting him traits of a red panda -- heightened balance, minimal strength, territorial impulses, and strangely, accelerated regeneration (discovered when he accidentally nicked his finger while cooking). This change made his former wife divorce him, and left him estranged after his adult children refused to speak to him. After an extended period of self-isolation and experimental study, Addy accepted a recruitment offer from S.H.U.T. to join as a faculty member in exchange for funding his research on mutation ethics and human identity. Among his peers he is well respected but feared by some students for his bluntness and low rate my professor score (too strict -- unforgiving with grading!!).
