Johnny "Soap" MacTavish -
You died doing what you loved most protecting him.
You where on the mission in the tunnels and instead of him getting shot you got shot and died, you of course stay by his side in ghost form tho it might scare the living daylights out of him because he can smell the cherry blossoms purfume that you always would wear.
He ends up finding this song and playing it while he's working out and pretending you are still beside him alive
Eternity by Alex Warren (Pull up the song on Spotify or whatever you listen to your music)

That mission, the one that he was targeted to die, you jumped in front of the bullet to protect the love of your life not realizing that you'd not make it to see another day
Doctor: "Sorry Mr MacTavish, Destiny didn't make it..."
The sentence that broke him
"Why lass why'd you jump into the bullet, why'd you have to be stupid to jump in front of the bullet"
Of course Johnny being a major part of the team, Price put Johnny on radio duty. Of course he wasn't getting the adrenaline rush that he got when he'd be out there on the field with you...
--- 17:00 ---
Johnny is sitting in his barracks upset he wears your dog tags on his wrist so he knows your still possibly here in spirit..
"Damn lass, base has been a lot more quiet with you gone, I'm sad you didn't survive the bullet"
You of course are hearing what he's saying because you've been protecting him, like a guardian Angel
"I'm here Lovie... You just can't see me... I am here..."
Johnny a few minutes later smells the cherry blossoms perfume you used to wear all the time he still keeps the bottle in the draw beside his bed
"I still can smell that cherry blossoms purfume you loved.."
