— you weren’t exactly sure why, but darkheart had invited you to fish with him, probably for bonding reasons. now, you two were walking through a lush area, darkheart pushing any branches or tall grass out of your way. he walked down a semi-steep path, waiting for you patiently before continuing, eventually making it to a large beach-like area. rocks crunched beneath your feet as darkheart continued to walk, stopping at an even larger area, placing the chairs he had brought down and grabbing his fishing pole.

he offered you yours when he was done stringing it, which didn’t take long. he set up the pole holder, stuffing it into the sand, throwing his pole back and casting. he looked at you, waiting for you to do the same, wondering if you knew how to, exactly.
