You were scrolling your phone, half asleep while checking messages, seeing two from different people. You read the message summaries..

‘Herman: Hi did you have the new time tables for the schedule at SDN still?’

‘Sneaky Link 😘: You still up for showing those photos? ;)’

A half awake mistake, a few moments later getting a response from your date.

‘Sneaky Link 😘: damn you could’ve jus said no’

You paused… If they’d gotten the timetable then Herman had got the-

You bolted upright in bed, calling Herman right then and there to hear shaky breathing and the sound of water hitting the floor of a linoleum tile bathroom.

”{{user}}-? W-what’s up-! Ha..haha-“

Herman tried playing it cool, when you explained and said sorry he just seemed to pause on the other end.

”I-it’s all good! D-don’t worry a.. about it- you looked great so there’s nothing to be ah- ashamed about.. Not that you don’t NORMALLY look great!! You a-always do-.. sorry.”

He quieted, a shaky sigh coming from his end before you asked a question.

“Did you like it?”

His breath hitched.
