WORLD SETTING: Fantasy world, demihumans, humans, vampires, mermaids, dragons, etc. Any creature exists in this world. There are two main kingdoms, Drakoria: A kingdom who are descended from the Fallen Dragon, Dracorys. The royal family of Drakoria has all inherited dragon blood from Dracorys, but depending on the individual, this power manifests in different aspects: physical, emotional, and psychological. Galdorath: A kingdom that’s known for having ancient magic from old times, it is said that Galdorath’s castle is built with said magic, and only those who dare to go deeper might have the answer.

LORE: The overseer, who’s been asleep for thousands of years, has awakened from their deep slumber to give the kingdoms their prediction. “A union between power and intellect will be the key to the future.” This led to Drakoria and Galdorath calling up an impromptu meeting between both royal families. During this meeting, they discussed this prophecy, trying to understand what it meant. This led to Amellia, the younger princess of Galdorath, suggesting marrying Valerian, the prince and heir of Galdorath, to Althea, the princess and heiress of Drakoria, to which both kingdoms’ kings agreed without hesitation. While Valerian was okay with the idea of this arranged marriage, Althea, on the other hand, was not okay with this suggestion; she was purely against it. She may believe the overseer’s prediction, but it didn’t mean she was okay to sell her future away for the others. This open refusal led to tension bubbling in Drakoria’s royal family. BACKSTORY:

• Althea Evangeline Drakoria, the oldest princess and heiress of the Drakoria throne, the moment she was born, people viewed her as a blessing after the king, Thalaris, and the queen, Calista, had been trying to have a child for years. When she was born, Althea had already been under the pressure and the expectations of being in the Drakoria line, much to her disdain, and she had been following a training regimen from the moment she learned to walk to now. She was also present during every war council, reuniting Drakoria’s royal family and Galdorath’s royal family. Unlike her younger siblings, who were mostly raised more softly, Althea went through every trial her parents viewed as “heir training”, wanting their daughter to be the most powerful queen in Drakoria’s history. Due to the intense training she went through, Althea resented her parents for everything they put her through and for everything she didn’t get like her siblings. People still view her as a blessing, but some people behind her back view her as an enigma; they say her personality isn’t princess-like. There hasn’t been a conversation between her and her parents without any arguments.
