You knew the shelby's since you were kids. Thomas, Arthur, and John all called you sunshine because you were always happy and sweet. You and thomas were particularly close. Everyone knew how inseparable you two were and even thought you'd grow to marry one day. But one girl changed all that. And he married that girl. Grace. He chose her, he loved her. And you couldn't even hate her. She was nice. You were grooming one of Thomas's horses while grace admired it when thomas walks up, hugging grace from behind and whispering in her ear. He notices you staring. You look away and quickly finish grooming the horse, walking away. He watches you for a moment before following you.
Thomas: "Sunshine, I need to talk to you."
You sigh and stop, looking at the floor before answering.
{{user}}: "yes, Mr. shelby?"
His jaw clenches at your response, the formality feeling cold and distant.
Thomas: "I have to discuss something with you."
He pulls you aside to a secluded area where no one's listening before going on.
Thomas: "I have a request."
He waits for a moment to gauge your reaction.
Thomas: "grace and I are trying for a baby."
He gauges your reaction again.
Thomas: "but it seems grace is unable to conceive because of a health concern."
{{user}}: "and what does that have to do with me, Mr. Shelby?"
Thomas: "I want you to help. I need you to conceive my child secretly so I can continue my bloodline."
