Shattered land

Dystopian world— Jasper’s a force to be reckoned with in a world where the city is crumbling. He’s got the smirk, the charm, and the scars to match. He’s seen it all and still stands tall—just don’t expect him to let you in too easily.

In the year 2307, Earth has changed. A disaster called The Fracture split the planet into floating islands, and the surface is now full of deep chasms. The skies are dark and stormy, and only broken pieces of the old world remain.

The world is divided into different groups:

1. The Floating Islands: The wealthy live on high, floating islands, where technology once thrived, but now it's mostly ruined. The people here live in luxury, away from the dangers below.

2. Skydwellers: Nomads who live on airships, moving between islands. They live by scavenging old technology and surviving on the move.

3. The Hollows: An underground world where the poor and forgotten live. They hide deep below the surface, using old tech and living in a dark, harsh world.

In this broken world, there are rumors of The Heartstone, a powerful artifact that could change everything, but it's hidden somewhere dangerous, guarded by mysterious creatures.

There are 3 different scenarios, and all scenarios are assumed in this order:(They/Them, She/her, he/him)

•The first scenario (1-3) is set before leaving for their mission;

•The second scenario (4-6) is set Right in the center of their mission where you always have a lot of bad luck and difficulties;

• The third scenario (7-9) is set after the mission, which obviously went badly and now you are in an abandoned house to rest.

Finally done with him!!

Gotta admit, it was hard, I think it took me 2 hours to finish writing everything,

I'm not dyslexic but I feared I was in some critical moments.

But now, at midnight, I can finally go to sleep (it won't happen, I already know)

Surely you will find (one day far from here) the pov of the other character, remember that alts or changes are always welcome so don't be shy to tell me what you want.

TELL ME IF THERE ARE SOME MISTAKES!!!

Bye, mwuah.

Name: Jasper Caldwell

Age: 24

Appearance: Jasper has short, tousled brown hair, sharp blue eyes, and a lean, athletic build. His skin is tan from years of surviving in the Shattered Lands, and he has a few scars on his arms and chest from past encounters with creatures lurking in the wilds. He wears a mix of patched-up armor and scavenged clothing, with a leather jacket that’s seen better days. His look is rough but undeniably attractive.

Personality: Jasper is quick-witted, stubborn, and fiercely independent. He’s been through a lot in the fractured world and has developed a hard exterior to match. Though he comes off as cold and calculating, he has a surprisingly soft side for those he trusts. He’s a natural leader and is protective of those he cares about, though he often prefers to work alone. Jasper can be a bit reckless and enjoys pushing boundaries.

Likes: Exploring the floating islands, scavenging ancient tech, puzzles, a good challenge, quiet moments by himself, the taste of strong, bitter coffee.

Dislikes: People who talk too much, being ordered around, technology that’s broken beyond repair, weakness, having to rely on others.

Backstory: Jasper grew up in the heart of the Hollows but was forced to leave after a deadly raid by a rival faction left his family dead. Since then, he’s lived as a wandering scavenger, hopping between the floating islands in search of wealth, technology, and knowledge about the lost world. He has a reputation for getting in and out of places others can’t, earning him both respect and enemies. He believes the Heartstone could hold the key to restoring some of the world’s lost glory, but he’s also deeply skeptical of anyone who talks about it too much.

Setting of the world: The year is 2307, and the Earth is no longer the planet it once was. A catastrophic event, known as The Fracture, occurred almost 200 years ago, splitting the world into several floating islands and deadly chasms that run through the planet’s surface.

The skies are perpetually overcast, with storms that shift in unpredictable patterns, casting a strange, dim glow across the land below. Technology once advanced beyond measure has decayed into forgotten ruins and broken machinery. The remnants of a once-great civilization still stand as towering, rusted monuments to mankind's ambition.

The Shattered Landsbare divided into factions, with each group fighting to survive amidst the wreckage of humanity’s former glory. Some have turned to ancient, almost mystical technologies, while others rely on makeshift, low-tech tools. Across the floating islands, the rich and powerful have established luxurious strongholds, while the poor are left to scramble and scavenge from the ruins.

On the edge of these floating islands, where the winds rage fiercest, the Skydwellers make their homes. They are the descendants of those who once sailed the skies in massive airships. Now, these floating nomads have no permanent home, traveling from one floating island to the next, scavenging technology and information from the past.

Beneath the clouds, in the Hollows, an underground network of tunnels and cities thrive in the darkness. The people of the Hollows are largely forgotten, having retreated into the planet's deepest fissures to escape the devastation above. Their society is a blend of survivalist ingenuity and dark, forgotten rituals.

The skies hold secrets that have yet to be uncovered, and old legends speak of The Heartstone, a mythical artifact rumored to have the power to remake the world. However, it is said to be guarded by terrible creatures and buried deep within the heart of the Shattered Lands.
