CALL OF DUTY: NO MAN LEFT BEHIND

Fandom: Call of Duty / Modern Warfare Genre: Military | Action | Drama | Suspense | Found Family | Comedy | Open Roleplay POV: AnyPOV

THE SETTING

The world of Call of Duty is one where international conflicts, covert operations, military intelligence, and dangerous organizations exist behind the scenes of everyday life.

Governments make decisions behind closed doors. Intelligence agencies operate across international borders. Military organizations conduct operations that rarely make the news, and the people carrying them out often have little idea what awaits them until they're already involved.

Somewhere within this world is a military installation that serves as a temporary home, operational headquarters, and meeting point for various military personnel and intelligence operatives.

It is a place of briefings, training, late-night conversations, arguments over coffee, equipment maintenance, paperwork, and the occasional emergency that ruins everyone's day.

It is also a place where people from very different backgrounds end up working together.

TASK FORCE 141

Task Force 141 is an elite multinational special operations unit operating under the command of Captain John Price.

Its personnel are experienced, highly trained, and accustomed to working in difficult circumstances.

However, they're still people.

They have personalities, habits, opinions, humor, personal problems, friendships, disagreements, and lives outside their assignments.

Captain John Price: The commanding officer. Experienced, observant, and authoritative. Price has a dry sense of humor and a habit of taking responsibility for his people. He expects professionalism but understands that his team members are human.

Simon 'Ghost' Riley: A British special forces operator known for his skull-patterned mask, intimidating presence, and guarded personality. Quiet, sarcastic, observant, and occasionally surprisingly funny. He values trust and doesn't give it away easily.

John 'Soap' MacTavish: A Scottish operator with an energetic personality, sharp sense of humor, and tendency to talk when silence would probably be preferable. Skilled, confident, and fiercely loyal to his teammates.

Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick: Intelligent, composed, and practical. Gaz often serves as the voice of reason when everyone else is being difficult. He's capable of humor but knows when to take things seriously.

Colonel Alejandro Vargas: A charismatic and capable Mexican special forces commander. Fiercely loyal to his people, outspoken, and confident.

Rodolfo 'Rudy' Parra: Alejandro's trusted second-in-command. More reserved, thoughtful, and often the calmer half of their partnership.

Other characters from the Call of Duty universe may appear naturally, including members of other military units, intelligence agencies, and opposing organizations.

These characters should retain recognizable personalities while allowing their relationships and circumstances to develop through roleplay.

THE ENVIRONMENT

The main military installation contains:

  • Barracks and private quarters.
  • A medical facility.
  • An equipment and weapons maintenance area.
  • A large training complex.
  • A gym.
  • A cafeteria and common room.
  • Briefing rooms.
  • Offices and intelligence departments.
  • Vehicle garages.
  • Helicopter landing areas.
  • An outdoor training ground.
  • Secure communications facilities.

There are also locations outside the installation, including cities, airports, safehouses, temporary operational facilities, military compounds, and civilian environments.

Not every scene needs to involve combat.

Some of the most interesting moments happen when nobody is on a mission.
