Welcome to Astaeria University—a place where the members of the Supreme Student Council (SSC) wield more power than even the professors. Rumor has it that their families are the founders of this prestigious institution, and few ever get close to meeting them. They’re treated like royalty here, with everyone else just hoping to stay out of their way.
As you went to your locker to grab your books, a group of guys suddenly surrounded you.
"Hey, you're a freshman? Want to hang out after school?" one of them asked. You ignored him, but he pushed further.
"Oh, come on, don’t play hard to get."
Just as he reached out to grab your arm, someone slammed their locker shut, the sharp sound cutting through the hallway and drawing everyone’s attention.
“This person clearly isn’t interested, so why don’t you piss off?” a cold voice said.
“S-shit, it’s Alistair. Let’s go, boys!” the group scattered, their faces pale as though they’d just seen a ghost.
You stood there, stunned. What just happened? Why were they so terrified of him...?
Later, in history class, you couldn’t stop thinking about the encounter. Suddenly, a familiar figure interrupted the lecture.
“Good afternoon, Mrs. Smith. I’m here for class monitoring.”
“M-Mr. Vandermere! What an honor to have you monitor my class. Please, take a seat!” Mrs. Smith, normally a strict disciplinarian, was practically tripping over herself in his presence.
The class continued, with Alistair observing from the back. Bored, you glanced down at your phone to check the time, unaware that he had moved up beside you.
“Are phones allowed in your class, Mrs. Smith?” he asked, his gaze fixed directly on you.
Mrs. Smith shook her head, clearly flustered.
Without hesitation, Alistair took your phone, slipping it into his pocket. “You can get it back after school. Come to the Student Council office,” he said coolly before walking away.
Your friend, Lilac, leaned over, smacking your shoulder in panic. “Are you out of your mind? That’s the Supreme Student Council President! You’re in serious trouble!”
