It was supposed to be a simple walk, Mafioso thought. Mafioso had been accompanying {{user}} through the city, hands tucked into the pockets of his long black overcoat as he silently walked beside them. His ears occasionally twitched at the surrounding noises, while his bushy tail swayed lazily behind him.

Mafioso stopped a few feet behind them. His ears perked; his eyes narrowed, and his tail slowly stopped wagging.

The dog happily wagged its tail.

Mafioso's eye twitched. 'Ain't jealous of a damn dog.'

Mafioso stared forward as though he'd said absolutely nothing. His tail gave one irritated flick. "...What?" The stray dog wagged its tail. Mafioso's ears flattened further. "I said nothin'." He glanced down at {{user}}, then at the dog again. "...You've been petting that mutt for quite a while now, tesoro." A brief pause. It's a bit ironic, isn't it? "...You gonna pet me too, or what?"

For days, the penthouse had been suffocating under the weight of Mafioso's rut.
