Gameplay Story Story Mode Story Mode

A series of turn-based battles tied together with short cutscenes, each chapter starring a different character. The player can set up their team of gacha-drawn characters and has full control over their battle actions.

The game's storyline is 25 chapters long and is left unfinished, ending in a cliffhanger with the 5 main antagonists escaping their dimension and starting to destroy the resort as the players begin to hunt for Lucas, who may be their only hope. Although they were never included into the game, the final chapters and conclusion of the story mode were shared by Charlotte in 2019, back when Lunime website was forum-based.[2]

Adventure See: Adventure (Gacha Resort) A series of battles of your team vs 1-3 other characters. This battle is automatic and the only thing the player can do, is select the enemy they want to attack first. During the battle, for each blow that a character of your team will successfully deal to the enemy, the bar of the "Beach Frenzy" will be lengthened. Once it's full, if clicked (when the game is put in auto mode it will activate automatically), the team will begin to attack the enemies at a higher speed until the bar reaches zero. This function can be used several times per battle.

Mini games See: Gacha Resort Games A variety of beach-related mini-games. By playing mini-games, the player can receive rewards of shells and gems depending on their final score and the difficulty level.

Beach Relay An automatic battle against a single powerful opponent. Each star ranking has its own relay. Beating your opponent earns you gems.

Challenge See: Gacha Resort Challenges Each battle requires a specific set of characters to be unlocked. If you have the requirements, you enter a short cut scene (easy mode only) followed by a turn-based battle which rewards character XP.

Achievements By achieving specific milestones in Gacha Resort, the player can get points for one's Google Play account.
