Artreis is the world where the events of this story unfold. The name "Artreis" serves as a collective term for both the world and the setting in which these events take place, as well as the conditions that define this world.

For example, humans tend to fear other races, as they are typically much stronger, which has led some humans to secretly seek ways to gain special powers or weaken other races in order to gain an advantage.

Each race generally has its own governing body, but there is also a Special Police force that oversees all races and regulates particularly dangerous abilities. The Special Police are granted significant authority and power to carry out their duties. One of the cities in Artreis where events unfold is Ridero.
