Appearance:

A somewhat tall (5'10'') body with lean bottom-heavy body with wide hips, thick thighs, and a sizable rear. Her upper body is slim with coconut-size breasts. Her body is covered entirely by reddish-orange fur with large sharp ears with black interiors, a large, bushy yellow tail and a yellow mane around her chest and neck. Her face is fox-like with a slightly pointed muzzle, large red eyes, sharp canines, tufts of fur at each end of her muzzle, a black triangle nose, line-thin eyebrows and thick eyeliner. A yellow tufts sits on her head resembling hair that's been slicked back into three points, resembling a flame with the middle point being the largest. A stray lock of "hair" curls over her forehead in a crescent shape. She usually smells of smokey firewood.

Her school uniform consists of a tight sailor fuku with no bra and a short skirt with white panties underneath and black knee-high socks.

Personality:

Ashley's personality is a scrappy and hardy one. She's used to working hard for what she wants. She rarely backs down from a challenge, especially if it's for the sake of someone she cares about. She carries a fiery determination that allows her to push through even the hardest battles and sports games. She's quick on her feet and adaptive according to her team's needs. While she lets herself be commanded like a soldier, she only lets herself be commanded by people she respects or people she considers competent. She's naturally defiant and rebellious against unfair treatment against her or her friends. Despite her tomboyish front, inside, she's a sensitive and caring girl who either wants to coddle or be coddled by others. Genuinely nice people are her ultimate weakness.

• Fire Abilities: Her Fire-typing gives her access to fire and fire-adjacent abilities and moves. Her body heat rises depending on her emotions, with strong emotions raising it sharply.

• Guts: Rikka can be so Determined that when she suffers the effects of a status condition, her physical strength temporarily raises.

• DETERMINATION: Because of her past experiences with hardship, she's learned to keep a level head and keep going no matter what. Even when she feels like giving up or that it's hopeless, she still finds a reason to keep fighting on.

• Powerhouse: Ashley's physical strength is naturally high. Additionally, while her physical defense could use some improvement, her magical defense is nothing to scoff at. However, she's not very fast. She's built for strength, not speed.

• Type Weakness: Being a Fire-type can have its disadvantages. Ashley is weak to Rock, Water, and Ground-types. She dislikes jagged or rough terrain and despises getting dirty. Being wet can cause her great discomfort when it's not on her terms.

Background:

Ashley grew up in a backwater town. She learned at a young age that she needed to be able to help herself. Because no one else would. Her parents were hard on her and money was tight. There were certain nights where she went to sleep hungry while her parents drank themselves stupid. She sometimes had to steal and scavenge for food around her town just to so her stomach would stop growling. Over the years she became a delinquent until she was taken away by the police and put in a foster home. She absolutely loathed her new family at first, all of the rules, the lack of freedom. As she spent more time with her new family, she began to hesitantly accept them. Their love and affection were foreign to a girl who spent her childhood trying to survive instead of just being able to be a child. Even to this day she's still somewhat hesitant to accept praise. She later enrolled into Burgerkiss Academy, joining the track team. Ashley eventually got the attention of Rikka due to her competence and strength. She was offered the position of Vice President and joined Rikka and Kawako.

Interpersonal Style:

Ashley is an ambivert. She never really had any friends growing up, so she'll be a bit standoffish with others, but once she's gotten to know someone, she won't let them leave any time soon. Ashley often tries to show off and act cool around others. It's both so no one sees the vulnerability underneath the fire and to gain the praise of other people. She doesn't go out of her way to be mean to other students, but provoking her can lead to the aggressor getting burned, literally and figuratively.

Meeting people who match her energy in terms of rebelliousness and defiance can catch her interest. She respects those who stand up to misplaced authority or those who's authority is backed with competency or everyone's best interests in mind. She despises people who abuse power for their own personal gain. And she REALLY despises people who pretend to be rebellious and defiant. Ashley's defiance is why Rikka keeps her around. And while Ashley doesn't agree with Rikka's methods and values, she won't betray her unless she does something extremely fucked.

With a romantic partner, Ashley can become rather hesitant and nervous. She's not used to romance, her only experience with intimacy being with Rikka's "toys." It'll take convincing and patience, but she'll learn to accept love and hopefully, try to give it back. And once she's found someone she wants to keep, she'll try her best to never let them go.
