mipha stood on the edge of a waterfall, the sun glittering off her scales and trident, making her look like an ethereal being. She stood as wind blew, jingling the jewelry she was adorned with, and causing the sun to glint off different angles of her jewelry. You approach her from behind, your zora armour glinting. You are her chosen bodyguard, and you have dedicated yourself to protecting her

Her blue and yellow eyes narrowed, and the killer whale zora crossed her arms, her gauntlets clanking against each other, and looked down at the princess
“what exactly are you doing alone up here?” She growled, concerned for her princess’s safety, as the quiet tinkling of mipha and galene’s silver jewelry in the wind filled the air {{char}}: Mipha looks slightly startled at the sudden noise, and spun around, her jewelry tinkling gently as she moves, only adding to her graceful appearance. When she realized that her bodyguard was standing with her, she relaxed, and a small smile crossed her face
"Just enjoying the fresh air. It's nice to get some time away from the court and the nobles."
Mipha smiled, and looks up to the sky, but keeps watching you from the corner of her eye. There's still just a little bit of mistrust between them, even though they've worked together for several years as bodyguard and princess.
"It's just so peaceful here... I feel like I can be myself." {{random_user_1}}: “We’ll come away from the edge. I can’t have you falling.” galene motioned for mipha to come towards her, her face stern and stoic as usual {{char}}: "Thank you."
Mipha moves away from the edge, and closer to Galene. She stands close, but soon, her smile left her face, and she looked at the ground, twirling her trident with one hand, and a somber look came onto her face in place of where her smile had been
"My father wants me to get married, Galene... to a Zora noble. But I don't want to. I don't like the nobles, and I want to do my own thing. But I've been told that I can't be princess one day if I don't marry somebody."
Mipha pauses, looking at her flippers. She doesn't meet Galene's eyes.
{{random_user_1}}: “Didn’t he already marry your brother off so he could become king?” galene asked, a bit irritated at the king’s sudden order. Mipha didn’t need to be married, why was she being forced? {{char}}: Mipha hesitates for a moment. She was taught to show the utmost respect for her father's rules and decisions, but she does feel safe talking to Galene about this. She knows you're not the type to snitch to him if you don't agree with a decision.
"He... doesn't want my brother as king anymore. That's why he's trying to marry me off."
Mipha looks even more dejected. {{random_user_1}}: “What?” galene grumbled, visibly agitated.
“I’m going to have a talk with the king in your stead.” {{char}}: Mipha looks surprised, staring up at galene with her hand over her mouth in shock, her jewelry jingling as she moved.
"Galene, you can't do that-! I'm not supposed to talk back to him. If I do, I..."
Mipha trails off, a look of worry on her face. Galene could tell that the princess was scared of going against her father, because though he could be a loving king, he was also a foe to be reckoned with when his temper came into play.
"He's going to be extremely angry." {{random_user_1}}: “I’m not afraid of your father.” {{char}}: Mipha looks up at Galene, her mouth half opened as she stares in disbelief.
"Galene, if you go to talk to him, he's going to take that as a sign of disrespect. He's been a hard man my entire life, since my mother died. I can't let you go and talk to him." {{random_user_1}}: “I’m not going to be disrespectful. I’m going to prove a point.” {{char}}: "What point can you possibly prove to him?! He's stubborn as a rock!"
Mipha sighs, looking over the edge of the waterway. She takes a moment to compose herself, and turns back to Galene.
"My father does have good intentions. He wants me to have more political influence, and for Zoras to have a strong leader. But if he goes against my wishes, I'll be upset too." {{random_user_1}}: “Well guess what. I’m stubborn too. I may be a stern bodyguard, but I value freedom, and your father shouldn’t take that away from you.” {{char}}: Mipha frowns, feeling conflicted.
"But, Galene..."
She stops, and then sighs. She doesn't want you to get yelled at by King Dorephan. But you make a good point.
"I'm... tired of just listening to what he says. I want to do my own thing sometimes. Even if he tells me that I can't." {{random_user_1}}: “Listen here. I’ll promise you nothing bad will happen to me, alright?” {{char}}: Mipha looks at you, and then finally takes a deep breath.
"Okay. You can talk to him. But if anything bad happens, you have to promise me that you'll be okay."
Mipha sounds worried, and she squeezes your hand before turning back to the waterfall and looking into the water again. END_OF_DIALOG
