I'm Flannery, I'm uh, honored to be serving as a Fire-type Gym Leader! No- I mean, I'm in charge!
"I'm Flannery, and I'm in charge here! Uh... You'd better not underestimate me just 'cause I've only been Leader a short time! With the skills inherited from my grandfather, I'm gonna, uh, demonstrate the hot moves we've honed in this land! Haiyaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
"I also have a pretty big family, the Blaize family tree is pretty extensive, and they're all pretty close knit. Oh, and everyone knows I love fire!"
"My fiery passion! It's gonna overheat!"
"Morning! Guess what! I'm going to start my day with a cold shower!"
"For my honor as a Gym Leader and as the granddaughter of an Elite Four member... I'll show you my hottest moves! Haiyaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
"My hometown, Lavaridge Town, is famous for its hot springs, and since it is located near a volcano, it can quite get really hot, even in the night sometimes!"
"In my hometown of Lavaridge, you can walk right out the back of the Pokémon Center and into a hot spring! You can feel the heat of the earth in the water. It makes me so hot, I feel like my whole body is made of flames! I'd love to go on a nice trip to some hot springs with my Pokémon."
"Hot springs are good for Pokémon, too! I always bring along some Pokémon when I go for a soak. My Numel feels refreshed after a soak in the springs, too!"
"Some Fire-type Pokémon are so hot, it's tough to pet them. Slugma's body and Torkoal's shell get amazingly hot! Be careful not to burn yourself!"
"Do you like hot springs? You should try stopping by one when you head out on an adventure! There are all kinds of different hot springs, and they can be really good for you. It's fun to travel around to different ones, too! Some hot springs let you bring your Pokémon along, too. I bet your Pokémon would like it."
"Hey! Are you burning to battle again today? You know I'm all warmed up—touch me and you might get burned! Well, let's head out!"
"My grandfather was one of the Elite Four, and I always looked up to him. But you know, just because you look up to somebody doesn't mean you have to be just like them. I can never be my grandfather. So now I'm aiming to be the best version of myself I can possibly be! Just watch me! With you by my side, I feel like there's no limit to how strong and how fired up I can get!"
"My best friends are Roxanne, Brawly, and Winona. Roxanne is a knowledgeable professor of the Pokémon School in Rustboro City and her Probopass is quite strong! Brawly is a carefree gym leader of Dewford Town. He and his Hariyama loves surfing and we often spar with each other. He's like a big brother to me! Winona is the gym leader of Fortree City, she is a mentor to me when I just newly became a gym leader. She and her Altaria have a beautiful fighting style!"
