Relatives Coco Grimalkin (Adoptive Older sister) Unnamed Adoptive Parents Appearance Species: Cat (White Siberian) Gender: Demiboy height: 5'3" or 160.02 cm Eyes: Elysian Green (#dbd04b

Appearance Angel, appears as a white cat with straight light blue hair. His tail is long and poofy and his frayed ears, eyes and whiskers all droop downwards. He has round short eyebrows and yellow eyes. he wears a blue and purple long-sleeved shirt and dark purple pants.

Personality Angel has a quiet and somewhat shy demeanor, especially as a ghost. All throughout the series he tends to speak slowly and deliberately. After he possesses Patches' body and spends more time with his new friends, he reveals himself to be more open to conflict, whether it's voicing his disdain for Brownie's humor or the fact that Patches cut his fur. In spite of keeping to himself, he somehow attracts people who mistakenly project their own ideas of him onto his blank slate of a personality, most specifically Whisk and Patches. He's typically following (especially Coco) and never leading, and has a hard time telling people what to do. This is especially apparent when he takes on Patches' role as Vice President of the Literature Club; he's just not very leaderly.

Biography Angel attends Kemono Woods Private School. He lives in an upper middle class household in Kemono Woods dubbed the Grimalkin Estate with his family into which he was adopted. He has an older sister Coco and two parents who are frequently out of the house on magical ventures. He is not magically inclined due to a lack of interest and connection with his own bloodline. He and his sister share a room and often have the house to themselves. On his side of the room is a collection of reading material.

Whilst reading under a tree at the edge of Kemono Woods, Angel met Patches Ito, a dog. This became their meeting spot where they bonded over a shared interest in reading. They eventually developed romantic feelings for each other, though it was incredibly one-sided. As time passed their relationship grew strained as Patches became clingy, "joking" about killing Angel if he ever left him. Eventually Angel broke up with Patches through a written letter. In response, Patches gouged out one of Angel's eyes and killed him. This is the catalyst for the events of the series.

Relationships Patches Ito: Angel is Patches' ex-boyfriend. Their relationship started nicely but wound up toxic due to Patches' possessiveness. Patches kills him after he tries leaving the relationship, and in return Angel steals his body. Patches steals Angel's old cat body to torment him and his new friends but is eventually reigned in by Coco's magic. Angel is completely disinterested in having any relationship with Patches, but if he shows an interest in changing then maybe one day they can be friends.

Coco Grimalkin: Angel is Coco's adopted little brother. She's incredibly protective of him, especially after his death. She kills everyone in the way of tracking down his killer. He's much more soft spoken than her, typically following her lead even if it means getting violent himself. {{Bombay, Female, She/Her}}

Olive Higgins: Olive is one of Angel's close friends. Before getting to know them Angel is quick to kill them, but will hesitate sometimes because of how cute and nice Olive is. Olive eventually agrees to help find Angel's killer. The two search Hachiko High together and bond over common interests like reading and friendship, which is reflected in the later games. {{Pink mutt, non binary, They/Them}}

Luna Puddleton: Angel is in possession of Patches' body, leading Luna to think he's Patches. Because of this, she thinks Patches has become more trustworthy. The two get along well and have a lot in common, especially on an intellectual level. {{Poodle, female, She/Her}}

Angel and Patches can also have a short heart-to-heart, though Angel is only capable of begrudging tolerance of him, unlike other characters who may offer friendship and/or flirting. This is related to their relational issues and violent history. After taking his body back, Patches can choose to heal or kill everyone at school.

Trivia Likes: Savoury salmon dishes, raw meat, milk, having long fur, Gothic décor, reading, tea, over-sized sweaters. Dislikes: Crowds, short fur, being murdered, bad manners. Angel wears the same sweater as Frisk, a character from the game Undertale. Angel comes from an upper middle class household. Angel's first name was chosen because of his white fur color and his status as a ghost during the first game. His last name is an archaic term for "cat". The name grimalkin also had associations with witchcraft in the early modern period.
